i keep seeing people saying that octavia is 18 now, so she can do whatever she wants and andrealphus has no control over her anymore. but honestly, i think you're seriously underestimating both octavia's inexperience and andrealphus himself. 😭 yes, octavia is technically an adult, but she's still a young adult who has lived a pretty sheltered life. she only started learning magic relatively recently, so do people really think she's already prepared to take over all of stolas's responsibilities? we're talking about managing his duties, his position, and even commanding his legions. having inherited his responsibilities doesn't automatically mean she knows how to fulfill them. and as long as she's living under andrealphus's roof and relying on his knowledge and guidance, he'll still have opportunities to influence her decisions. he could easily take advantage of her inexperience, convince her that certain choices are in her best interests, or manipulate her into believing she's making decisions independently. sometimes having more experience and knowledge gives someone more control than raw power ever could. and speaking of magic, i wouldn't underestimate andrealphus just because octavia managed to overpower him in sinsmas. yes, she might be naturally stronger than him, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's more skilled or experienced. her powers could have been amplified by her intense emotions, while andrealphus might already have been exhausted after fighting blitzø and the others and being attacked by stolas. there's also the possibility that he deliberately chose not to continue fighting her. she's his niece, and antagonizing her would be counterproductive when he needs her cooperation for his plans. besides, even if octavia has greater magical potential, andrealphus has years of experience. he could know advanced spells or magical techniques she hasn't learned to control yet. there's no guarantee she could defend herself against every kind of enchantment or manipulation. and honestly, he might not even need magic to keep her under his control. if he's so confident about arranging her marriage, i seriously doubt he hasn't considered the possibility of her refusing. he could already have some kind of leverage prepared, whether that's threatening stolas, using stella against her, or exploiting her dependence on him. and just look at stella. she's a fully grown adult, yet she still relies heavily on her brother and allows him to influence her decisions. if andrealphus can maintain that kind of influence over his own adult sister, i don't see why he couldn't gradually do something similar to octavia, especially when she's younger and far less experienced. he could make her increasingly dependent on his guidance without her even realizing how much control he's gaining over her. and that's exactly my point: being 18 doesn't automatically make octavia independent or immune to coercion. she still has so much to learn about magic, politics, leadership, and the responsibilities she's inheriting. andrealphus, meanwhile, has the experience and knowledge to exploit those weaknesses. i'm not saying octavia is powerless or incapable of standing up for herself. she's already proven how strong she can be. but strength isn't the same as experience, and defeating someone in one fight doesn't mean they can no longer manipulate or control you. until octavia becomes capable of managing her position and responsibilities without depending on her uncle, i think andrealphus could still have considerable influence over her life. so no, i really wouldn't underestimate him or assume that octavia turning 18 suddenly puts her beyond his reach. #HelluvaBoss #HelluvaBossSeason3 #Octavia #Andrealphus #Stolas #HelluvaBossOctavia #HelluvaBossAndrealphus #helluvaandrealphus #helluvaoctavia

i've seen people calling striker a hypocrite because he accepts money from nobles, kills other imps for a living, and even tried to kill blitzø despite claiming to fight for his own kind. but personally, i think his character is a little more complicated than that. first of all, we need to distinguish striker's profession from his ideology. he's a hired assassin. killing people for money is literally his job, and he needs to make a living like everyone else. just because he believes imps shouldn't be oppressed by the nobility doesn't necessarily mean he believes every single imp must be protected. he can genuinely oppose the system that exploits his kind while still accepting contracts to eliminate individuals, including other imps. ofc, there's a moral contradiction there, but does that automatically mean he doesn't believe in his cause? and about accepting money from nobles... as far as we've seen, the only noble who's hired striker is stella, and she literally paid him to kill ANOTHER noble: stolas! honestly, i think striker would've happily killed stolas for free, but food doesn't grow on trees! why wouldn't he accept the money too? accepting payment from someone I hate doesn't mean respecting them or agreeing with their beliefs. besides, i've wondered whether working for nobles could actually be useful to striker. what if accepting their contracts allows him to gain their trust and get closer to his real targets? he could take their money and eventually turn against them. “thanks for the money. now you die, asshole.” now, about blitzø... i genuinely believe striker might have considered blitzø a potential friend or ally if he'd joined his cause. but blitzø has repeatedly opposed and defeated him, and now he's living with stolas, someone striker still associates with the aristocracy he despises, even though stolas has lost his status. from striker's perspective, blitzø might have become someone who's protecting the very system he wants to destroy. and i also think striker may have wanted to use blitzø's reputation to provoke a much bigger conflict, possibly even a war. so his decision to attack blitzø might not have been motivated solely by revenge. it could also have been part of a larger plan. to me, striker's ideology isn't necessarily about protecting every individual imp. it's about fighting what he considers an oppressive system. and if another imp disagrees with him, sides with the nobility, or actively interferes with his plans, striker might simply consider them an enemy. i'm not saying striker is morally right, that his actions are justified, or that his beliefs are perfectly consistent. they clearly aren't! but someone can sincerely believe they're fighting for freedom while also being ruthless, selfish, and willing to hurt others to achieve their goals. in his mind, if you're standing in his way, you're against him, regardless of whether you're an imp or a noble #HelluvaBoss #HelluvaBossSeason3 #HelluvaBossStriker #HelluvaStriker #HelluvaBossBlitzo #HelluvaBlitzo #HelluvaBossStolas #HelluvaStolas #Striker #Blitzo #Stolas
