No AI. 100% of the blame for this is on my shoulders.

Due to other obligations, I have to early vote.
I do not like voting against people. I prefer to vote for the candidate that most fits my views, even if that candidate is sure to lose. I believe if everyone did that instead of "voting for the winner", we'd be in a better spot.
And yet, here I am, looking at my choices here in Florida and having to absolutely hold my nose to pick someone who can win against someone who I absolutely do NOT want in power.
And it sucks.
Greatly.
Politics shouldn't (ought not) be like this. But ought not and is are 2 different things.
Being an independent really sucks right now.
Gonna make a traditional Japanese soup with fermented soybean paste and Viagra.
It will be called Miso Horny.
Engagement bait, so Imma just gonna paste here, but for actual gun banners, this is their holy-grail of "Gotchas!" that they stake their entire, faulty argument on.
A firearm is basically a tube, sealed at one end, that uses expanding gases to push a projectile out.
There are 2 basic other things to consider - how the next round is loaded and things to help you put the bullet where you want.
Gun banners focus on those last items as well as cosmetics to determine if a firearm is "too lethal".
If it helps you aim, it's BAD! If it loads the gun for you too fast (and rate of reload is an unqualified opinion at that), it's BAD!
That's it. That's the limit of their argument. They're focused on physical looks because they know if they focus on the actions of the individual (the thing that ACTUALLY matters), their entire reason for grift falls apart.
This is my life, except *I* know the engine didn't need to be removed, however the mudbutts* have already decided that the AI said it needed to happen so I need to stop arguing & just remove the engine completely.
*My nickname for people who require an AI to tell them why their ass is muddy.
We have not had a single trick or treater in the 12+ years we've lived here. The neighborhood is a cul-de-sac off of a busy road and only 2 families of the 14 houses have young children.
When my girls were still that age, we had to go elsewhere, usually our old hood or in the 'hoods of their friends.
Honestly, I miss it. I loved seeing the little kids & their costumes and just dumping giant handfuls of candy into their pillow cases.
Heck, I even miss the older teenagers showing up late and me grousing about how they were too old for this stuff.
It is.
The first movie was visually stunning and while it changed the story a little, sometimes that has to happen to cram an epic novel into a 2 hour film.
The second movie was a poor fanfic that had a lot of the characters' names right, but none of their actual selves.
I have no desire to watch Chani become Paul's nemesis.
Me: "Okay, Claude, we need to match based on name and not an id as it's understood that names are not unique and this needs to trigger off any matches."
Claude: "I matched on the ID"
Me: "No, do not match on ID, match on the name"
Claude: "Ah, you specifically said not to do that and I did. Let me do the opposite of what you asked again. It's just a token budget, right?"
To be fair... this comes as no suprise
Interesting, if you go to nitter.cf/i/under_the_hood you can see a report of what labels your account may have been hit with.
Or some labels. Doesn't show shadow stuff from what I can tell.
If @Dell wants to send me a PowerEdge for coming up with this brilliant idea, I can't say I'd decline the offer.
This morning had you asked me if I ever believed the Gun Control Act had a chance of ever being overturned, I would have laughed at you.
But if this is the best argument the gun banners can come up with, there's actually a strong chance.
Because this is some weak-ass shit right here. If they're struggling to even define what "arms" are qua AR-15s, this is going to open up so many lawsuits to get our rights back that they will not be able to defend.
Back in the '90s I dated a girl whose father used to work for Waffle House corporate.
He explained the system to me in detail and being that I ate there all the time, it was fascinating to watch it happen in real life.
And I'm not saying this to disparage Waffle House employees but this system was set up not only to be efficient but also to work well with the types of people who get jobs at Waffle House.
It's simple, effective, and results in very, very few mistakes.
It is quite ingenious.
