Any song by UB40 is torture for me.

Do y'all have a *least* favorite song? One that gives you an attitude every time you hear it?

I still wanna know who decided that “Everybody Knows” was a better single choice over “Quickly” w. Brandy.

18 years ago today, John Legend released his third album ‘Evolver.’ What’s 1️⃣ of your favorite songs?

I want Verzuz to go back to just playing the songs. Badly.

“Dreamer” is my favorite Carl Thomas song. I was hoping he would pull it out of the hat for Verzuz. So glad he did.

I will always have a soft spot for power ballads.

I’m listening to Sirius XM’s Watercolors and Angela Stribling’s voice just came through, reminding me that she’s no longer here. Just kinda messed me up a bit.

To be a Brandy fan is to know that albums don’t come a dime a dozen. The older I get, the more I respect that about her.

I really hope there’s a Gretchen Parlato Quartet concert somewhere in or near TN sometime soon. I wanna hear the songs from The Wise Ones live.

It’s been a whole month since it dropped and GAWD’s ‘PHATTER’ project is still in heavy rotation over here. So good!

I feel like a lot of the discourse around this is disingenuous.

IMO, Jai’Len Josey released one of the best projects of 2026. It’s still getting at least one full, top-to-bottom spin from me every couple weeks.

I feel like this was the ‘I’ll Give All My Love to You’ / ‘Compositions’ era. 1990/1991.

What a time, y’all… me and Anita Baker! Our love for R&B is unconditional. Can you guess what year this was?
