Here’s everything you need to know:
The Corporate Transparency Act requires certain U.S. entities to report beneficial ownership information (#BOI) to #FinCEN. It should take 10 minutes, but if you don’t do it by Jan 1st there’s a $591 per day fine.

A story about my dad: I could barely read in the 2nd grade @ PS 110, so pops found a ritzy Manhattan private school that hadn’t filed its 990 tax return for 3 years, agreed to get their non-profit status back and do their books in exchange for free tuition.
It changed my life.
Financial advisors will have to acknowledge their fiduciary status when working with clients and adhere to “impartial conduct standards” starting Sept 23rd. FYI - #CFP professionals were already held to this standard before the ruling.
