There’s a rumor going around about a “new Trump family token,” but I think it could be interpreted in a different way.
Here are the 4 possibilities I’m looking at.
1. Why launching another Trump meme coin could be difficult
$TRUMP already exists as the official Trump meme coin. Launching another one could create political backlash, dilute the $TRUMP brand, anger existing holders, and intensify conflict-of-interest criticism. So simply launching “another Trump meme coin” may be a much more difficult move than it sounds.
2. What if RWA utility gets added to $TRUMP instead?
For example, holding $TRUMP for a certain period could make holders eligible for periodic rewards in tokenized stocks or other RWA assets. Not actual shares, but tokenized assets that trade onchain. That could transform $TRUMP from a pure meme coin into Trump meme + RWA + holder rewards. In other words, from “a meme you hold hoping the price goes up” into “a meme with an actual reason to hold.”
3. What if $TRUMP expands into a multichain asset?
Personally, this feels like the most natural scenario. $TRUMP could remain on Solana while expanding to EVM chains such as Robinhood Chain or BNB Chain through a multichain bridge or wrapped-token structure. Solana liquidity stays intact, while other chains could be used for RWA, DeFi, rewards, and new utility.
3. What if $TRUMP migrates entirely to another chain?
Technically, it’s possible. Existing Solana $TRUMP holders could be snapshotted and given a way to swap into a new $TRUMP contract on another chain. But that would be much more complicated because exchanges, liquidity, wallets, DEXs, and holders would all need to migrate. So if something major does happen, I think multichain expansion is more likely than a full migration.
My thesis is simple:
Instead of launching another meme coin that competes with $TRUMP, wouldn’t it make more sense to expand the existing $TRUMP ecosystem and connect it with RWA infrastructure?
If that actually happens, $TRUMP may no longer be just “the Trump meme coin.”
It could become:
Trump meme + RWA + multichain + holder incentives
And if that happens, the market could value it very differently from where it is today.
Of course, this is still just a theory. There has been no official confirmation.
hyperliquid strategies, the public company holding $hype, is seeking approval for a subsidiary to serve u.s. customers trading perpetual futures on hyperliquid-based markets.
approval is still pending, but the ambition is clear: bring onchain trading into the regulated u.s. market.
imagine wall street competing for customers on infrastructure built by crypto.

how much would you bid on an nft if you couldn’t see what everyone else was bidding?
fungolabs is testing that with its upcoming genesis sale: encrypted bids, with all winners paying the same final clearing price.
i’m curious how people value something when they can’t use a whale’s bid as reassurance.
around 5,700 nfts stolen from talis. reportedly just $3,100 made by the attacker.
that number says little about what those pieces meant to their owners.
someone’s collection, built over months or years, can become a quick exit for someone who never cared what they were selling. that’s the part of nft exploits that dollar headlines don’t capture.
