If the ending of the Vandy game would have been different and the touchdown that was taken away in the Stanford game would counted, DD would still have a job. At least until the end of the year. Wonder if he would have retired this year?

I wonder if Noah, Hollywood, Anderson and Peak would have left if they would have gotten the same amount of money that they did at the schools they went to. We have lost a lot of good players to the portal.

It’s easy to complain about someone until you see them broken. I have been frustrated with Dave this season but it hurt listening to his press conference. He can be salty at times but he loves his players and he loves this University.

Is anyone else 😢😢😢😢? I absolutely hate the fact that it ended this way. I think he really loves State and he has done a lot for this university.

Can’t imagine what Dave was thinking after the game last night. Did he think Boo would let him go today? Got to b a weird feeling for Dave. Head coach of NC State for 14 years. It was his home. Now it is not. Of course he will be Getty a nice chunk of money to be fired.

I have to believe that Kevin Howell realizes how important it is for State to be relevant in sports especially in football and basketball the next few years. If State is not relevant, State will get passed by with conference realignments and we will become a mid major.

The fan base will absolutely hate being a mid major . I know I will. I don’t know if I trust Boo for the next coaching search. We will see. Also, in the world of NIL, if State wants to win, they have to pay great players to stay. Very concerning when you here that State lost

Cole (State fan growing up) to Alabama. I know it’s because the money went to Paul which I am fine with but we found out that State did not offer Paul the most money. Money is one of our problems. I am so happy Paul chose loyalty and love for State over money.

I think Dave is as disgusted with us as we are of him. He can’t be happy right now. The pressure must be terrible. No one likes being criticized and called out all of the time. I think Dave will take a buyout. If so, does Kevin trust Boo with the search?
