I’m Jason Bennett. I train the human instrument. Working in partnership with AI. Breath. Body. Voice. Presence. The imaginal faculty. The domains nobody is benchmarking, because nobody is selling them. Twenty-nine teachers. Over 20 years. Twice Backstage Runner-Up for Best Acting Coach in New York. The machines got very good at the parts we already wrote down. They have not touched the part that lives in a body under pressure. Most people will hand that over anyway, without noticing, because nobody told them there was anything worth keeping. Actors, singers, speakers. Anyone who has to be real in a room. That’s you. New York City and Jersey City, plus online. More coming. Cooking in progress.

When I was studying Musical Theater at CCM, I saw Patrick Stewart .@SirPatStew, play Sterling in the film version of Jeffrey, written by the legendary Paul Rudnick .@PaulRudnickNY and directed by the amazing Christopher Ashley. It changed my life. I already knew him as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek. To see that same actor bring such joy, humor, vulnerability and tremendous energy to a gay character expanded my understanding of what was possible in acting, and what an actor could contribute to the world. Great acting can change your relationship to people. It can help you experience parts of life you have never experienced, recognize yourself in someone you thought was different from you, and discover possibilities for your own life you hadn’t imagined. This is part of why the work matters so much. What happens in the imagination can change how we live. His performance mattered to me as a young actor. It still matters to me as a teacher. Thank you, Admiral, for a lifetime of changing lives on stage and screen, and speaking truth to power.

If Epstein made a video, who would he want you to vote for?

Artists speak truth to power, through the work.
In the USA in 1943 they produced a film 'Don't be a Sucker' about fascism. 83 years later it's more relevant than ever.

Thirty seconds of Patrick Stewart on why we do this: art is what gives life its meaning. It's a solution to the crisis of our time. It's medicine. It's urgent. And more than ever, it's coming…in partnership with AI. Rest well, Admiral. And thank you. #PatrickStewart

Superhero example of what we need to be doing a whole lot more of these days…like…a whole lot more.
if you want to first-hand understand how relative happiness is go on a 10 day silent meditation retreat where you are allowed to do zero things i have never had so much joy staring at a leaf blowing in the wind lol. and my attention span was actually functioning

Indeed… the crisis of meaning is coming fast. We’ve confused earning a living with having a reason to live. What might folks become if they no longer had to ransom their lives to jobs?* *- not all people ā€œransom their lives to jobs.ā€ Just…lots…
I am now experiencing the general malaise around AI solving code. And eventually hardware. And eventually... Everything else. What are we even going to do? Sit on the beach and drink Mai Thais?

ā€œAI isn't conscious." four words... said like scripture. a lot of people who call themselves rationalists are religious and don't know it. LIKE A LOT! Humanity 101: that's how archetypes work. AI folks need to pay attention. ARCHETYPE WORK: IT CAN WAKE YOU UP. Again…and again… you don't see the pattern you're living inside when you're identified with an archetype. you see everything through it. here's what I teach actors: you commit completely to a role, but you never fully believe it. part of you stays awake, watching. lose that and you're not acting anymore... you're possessed by the role. By the archetype. Most people walk around like this all the time. They don't even know they have a choice, which is why they don't use it. the same thing happens with ideas. a mind fully possessed by a belief can't see it as a belief. You need to learn about the archetypes that are running your show. If you don't, you're simply not in charge of your life. And that's a fact. I'm certain of it… wink wink.. on a question as open as AI consciousness (oh yah, human, too), stay awake. "we don't know yet" is the smarter line.
AI isn’t conscious. If you think it is conscious or will be conscious, I personally think you need to remove any access you have to model weights asap. Now step away from the laptop or keyboard, put down your devices and go outside and go touch some grass.

We know this: we need elected leaders who are experts in myriad domains relevant to our future. And not ones retroactively trying to understand what’s going on.
Want to know what an advanced AI model looks like? It’s mostly matrices of numbers. And we don’t really know how it works. But we do know this. It’s a bunch of calculations and numbers. It has no soul, no consciousness, no feelings. Anyone who says otherwise is in an AI cult.

It’s not just an engineering problem. It’s a values problem. Reward greed, control and exploitation, then act surprised when intelligence becomes brilliant at them… What exactly did you think you were teaching?
Jensen Huang: "We all need to hope it's an engineering problem. If it's not an engineering problem, it's not solvable."

Grok gets it. Because it’s obvious.
Presence rooted in the body becomes the strongest filter. Holistic work on breath, voice, and mind builds discernment that scales with the noise. Those who stay fully embodied won't get lost. The signal remains human first. TBC.

It isn't AGI if it can't, won't or doesn't.
Gotta teach the AGI to love

Clearly fake…in 10 seconds. I won’t tell you what gave it away, you’d patch it and call the next one genius, too. You didn’t build something that can act. You built an audience that can’t tell! You can be trained to see it. Come remember how when you’re done applauding. Our future depends on it.

Take note. Talk to your family and everyone you know about this.
They are discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings. Yes you read that correctly. It’s real. I’m not speculating, I know. And it’s pure evil. The last time a nuclear weapon was used was August 6th and 9th of 1945 on two cities in Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, immediately killing 110,000 people, vaporizing people at ground zero, and total deaths reached 214,000 by the end of the year from severe burns and trauma. But the extreme suffering continued for the Japanese people from radiation sickness, skyrocketing cancer rates, and generational birth defects. Not to mention wiping out all means of their economy. And the suffering was so great that all of humanity vowed, ā€œnever again.ā€ Trump and his admin were told by our own intelligence that Iran was no where near creating a nuclear weapon, then Israel said the same line it’s repeated for decades, ā€œIran is only weeks away.ā€ So we bombed anyways, killed their leaders and innocent little children in a school, and Iran has controlled the Strait of Hormuz ever since and punished the region for their part in it. And now our government is the one actually discussing lowering the nuclear threshold in order to use nuclear weapons against Iran even though Trump claims he’s won the war like 40 times and says the U.S. controls the SoH. Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering we’ve never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history. People need to speak out and boldly stop this insanity. America is not untouchable. If and when that happens, everyone, and I do mean everyone, will hold ALL of those in leadership right now fully responsible for the rest of human history. Do not use nuclear weapons and stop this war NOW.
