An official apology for slavery is tantamount to an official insult.
The royal family's foundational wealth was the product of slavery, as it was the British ruling class entire.
Significant reparations are required up front, followed by slavery reparations tax on the wealth of every family known to have been involved in this vile and barbaric trade.
If slave owners were paid compensation when slavery was final abolished -- and what a disgrace that was -- then their descendants should cough up now.
The under and de-development of Africa was and is directly linked to the slave trade. Compensation, major compensation, is long overdue.

I have always respected Tommy Robinson for his work on the rape gangs - he gave evidence to our inquiry, and it was remarkable to hear his level of knowledge. It contributed massively to our findings.
Tommy was fair and balanced. I learnt a lot.
He has not been treated fairly by our establishment for many years, and today is the latest example of that.
To be honest, I believe it is a disgrace.
He was right on the rape gangs. The state was wrong.
They want to vilify him for that.
The media, the justice system, Labour, the Tories, Farage. It was made very clear to me when I was in Reform that I was not to praise Tommy Robinson publicly. I did regardless.
The entire establishment is against him.
My view is this - he has done more than any politician to uncover the rape gangs, and for that I thank him.

For those who didn't hear- Lowe said that "handguns were banned in UK because of 'one murder' in Dumblane".
It is true that Lowe has no shame.
Restore Britain is an unashamedly pro-shooting party.
It is a vital part of rural Britain, helping supply British game to local butchers, restaurants, pubs and households.
It supports gamekeepers, farmers, rural businesses, food processors, hospitality jobs and more. It pumps millions and millions into parts of rural Britain that are entirely forgotten by Westminster - very often at times of the year when otherwise local businesses would perish.
We want to see more British game on dinner tables, at home but also across the public sector. Let’s serve more game in our schools, hospitals and other public sector institutions.
Why not? Rather than importing cheap meat from the other side of the planet.

When I knew him he was the willing accomplice at the @DailyMirror of Ghislane Maxwell’s father Robert, usually just carrying his hat and coat. So besotted was he with the greatest thief of the century he broke the nose of a Guardian journalist in Parliament for celebrating the fat thief’s trip to Davy Jones Locker. Later he served the War Criminal Tony Blair with similar gusto. He lied and cheated his way through the Blair era, deceiving parliament and people and world opinion equally. None of this has seen him banished from Labour or the great British media and Establishment society, quite the contrary. That he has turned his grease-gun on Carlson and me says more about the Epstein class who still rule than it does about us.
