It’s very difficult to watch @ManUtd at the moment. Whilst I don’t like to watch us lose, it’s the manner in which we’re losing, which frustrates me the most. Michael Carrick is a true legend of the club unlike our current players. That won’t change but I think he has to go.

I’m not one for self promotion but this is a brilliant book for everybody but especially for teenagers and young children. It really sparks their imagination. Give it a blast. 😉 amazon.co.uk/dp/B0HDYJF1JD

Friday 9th October otherwise known as the return of the Jedi. The last instalment of Jack’s journey. In addition to my son’s raising it will also mark my 25th anniversary in freemasonry and Baines’s 500th meeting! Bring it on 🙌🏻

Say it quietly, but there is now a noticeable difference in: 1) How often the press want to talk to us at @UGLE_GrandLodge… 2) How the reporting is moving away from focusing on myths and more focused on looking at facts… This is progress - but we still have work to do! #Freemasons
We were delighted to welcome the @DailyMail to @FreemasonsHall to meet 30 Freemasons from all walks of life 👨‍🚒👨‍⚕️👨‍⚖️ From beekeepers to doctors, people from across the country shared how Freemasonry has shaped their lives, supported them through challenges, and built lifelong friendships! 🤝📷 Read the full article below: tinyurl.com/yzkc8cf6 #Freemasons

There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are. Manchester will forever be my home. To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here. Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day. Forever a Red Devil ❤️

Happy 72nd birthday to my remarkable mother in law. Every birthday now feels more important than the last. We don’t choose to live in the past or the future. We choose to live in the present ❤️

Baines Lodge on the road. We attended a ceremony in numbers. To have a guest you have to be a guest. Freemasonry in its purest form 🙌🏻

I think it’s fair to say that my second lodge had a very successful move from Preston to Garstang. Another cracking night 👍🏻

Big shout out to all the lads at Emblem Lodge following their installation meeting recently. A fabulous occasion with superb numbers too. A brilliant contingent from Scotland made the occasion even more special. Thanks for the invitation Steve 😉

Not long back from a lovely trip in York for our wedding anniversary! The weather wasn’t great but the company was perfection. I can’t remember the last time I posted on here. It’s nice to take a break from time to time 😉

Replying to @AnnemarieDray
Thing is Annemarie there isn't a single thing he's said in that presser today that isn't the truth or isn't something we've not all said ourselves about the team, challenges and consistency. Forgot the system, it doesn't matter what system the players are in, if they can't do basics like passing the ball, pressing, scoring, basic defending, catching a ball etc and they can't play well for 2 consecutive weeks what is a coach supposed to do? As fans we've all said the same thing, under numerous coaches. "We dont know what Utd turn up this week" we as fans get frustrated, imagine being the coach! Go and watch all of our goals conceeded this season, i just have, and 2, maybe 3 (out of 13) are down to the system - the rest are 100% individual errors, players not doing the basics. I get fans want managers to defend the players blindly like Ole did but I appreciate Ruban's honesty, it at least proves he's seeing the same thing we are.

As the academic year draws to a close, just a reminder to ensure that you have all the details of any of your graduating students, and that you have processes in place to help them migrate to other Lodges. We must keep in touch and keep these brethren in contact with their mother lodge at a time of yet more great change in their lives. It's very much an interactive process.
