John Divinski

Well, the dust has settled and although I’m disappointed with the outcome, I do want to congratulate all of those who are successful and a tip of the hat to all who let their names stand.

You don’t have to vote for me but I urge you to VOTE. Internet or phone. It’s easy. Please make the effort. Your decision is crucial. I hope you vote for me but if not I hope you vote before 8pm on Monday October 26th. Thank you.

The end is near. So many to thank. Personally I’d like to thank my Campaign Manager, my spouse Rev Ann Veyvara-Divinski who worked tirelessly making sure people got to know me. Would also thank my brother Bill (Fellini) for helping me create my videos including the one attached

Very important subject for all of us in Saugeen Shores.

A snapshot of issues facing the community. They can change based on subject matter of the day.

It can get scary at All Candidates meetings! All those faces staring at you waiting for answers. Kudos to the candidates, me included, that showed up to answer questions. Thanks to the Canadian Federation of Women for hosting. You can see the event On Demand on Eastlin

Next up—Transportation!

Another “fun” subject — high taxes!

Ready to kick off the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks 2026-27 hockey season. There’s a seat here with your name on it. Come on to the Plex now!!!

It was a full house at Bevan Hall last night (Aug 31) as the Southampton Residents Association hosted the first all-candidates meeting of the season Thanks to all who came out and participated. I was glad to be there as one of the incumbent candidates in Southampton Ward.

Southampton Legion Branch celebrating the Royal Canadian Legion 100th Anniversary. Honour Guard; Legion President Comrade Derrick Johnston; L to r) Southampton Ward councillors John Divinski & Cheryl Grace; Mayor for Saugeen Shores Luke Charbonneau & Deputy Mayor Diane Huber.

Great start to the Southampton Legion party celebrating the Royal Canadian Legion 100th Anniversary! Colour guard as good as ever. I was honoured to be asked to take part.

Coming to your door soon! Let’s talk. Hope to have your support!

Had to try the new sign in downtown Southampton! Myself and the Chair of the BIA Sara Porter and her puppy Bourbon like the sign and it has a lot of people taking photos. Have some fun and try it yourself!!

If you wonder if people are generous take a look at our donation box to a FREE event at St Paul’s Anglican Church in Southampton. It’s all part of this year’s Marine Heritage Festival. ARGH-H-H!! Great turnout for the lecture.

My good friend Bill Pineau and I (or is it me?) at the Chantry Centre in Southampton on July 15. We were attending a volunteer information meeting for the upcoming Marine Heritage Festival July 24-26. It’s going to be great!!
