He was here for 26 days and this is the message he leaves us with. Wow
#SAFC
Love this if I am honest, HOWEVER, major tweaks are need, needs to lose the stubbornness
🚨 Régis Le Bris’ position as Sunderland Head Coach is safe — and he continues to have the full support and confidence of Sunderland’s hierarchy.
🇫🇷 The Frenchman remains central to #SAFC plans and ambitions, despite the club sitting bottom of the Premier League table. The belief within the club is the 50-year-old will turn things around.
⬇️ There is an internal recognition that recent Premier League results have been disappointing, and the club understand current frustrations felt by supporters.
🫡 The club believe stability, collective responsibility and a united approach is the way forward for #SAFC as they look to achieve their ambitions, both domestically and in Europe.

Also Europe isn’t affecting Brighton and Bournemouth a see 👍
Stop with that fucking excuse already
Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris insists he has the backing of owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus as speculation ramps up over his future.
Le Bris was questioned on his future during his post-match press conference at the CBS Arena but says he believes he still has the support of Louis-Dreyfus and director of football Florent Ghisolfi.
"I've no doubt," Le Bris told reporters when asked if he still thought he had the support of the key decision-makers at the club. "I don't think like this. For me, we experienced so many difficult situations to achieve what we achieved, and we won't give up just because it's a bit tough at the beginning of the season.
"So, 100 per cent I'm combative. I feel the unity of the club. The players obviously still have doubt because when you lose, you try to find solutions.
"I don't feel that the players are trying to escape their own responsibilities, which is the most important, I think. And for the players, it's the case. For the staff, it's the case. For me, it's the case. So, I keep working hard."

There’s no doubt about it now, we’re in a relegation battle this season. Le Bris has worked miracles for 2 seasons and, for me, deserves our support, and more time than 9 games. Obviously results need to change quick. One win and we’re out the bottom 3. KTF.
I reckon we must be getting a payout depending on how many games we use the pink kit as there is no reason to not use the home kit tomorrow #SAFC
Lifetime please sir
Luke O'Nien's fine recent performances are putting him firmly in the frame to earn a new contract at Sunderland.
O'Nien is a modern-day Black Cats legend, having been a key part of their squad through promotion campaigns in League One and the Championship.
He struggled for regular game time last season as they returned to the Premier League, but has bounced back to play a bigger role in 2026-27.
The 31-year-old moved into Sunderland's top 20 all-time appearance makers on Wednesday as he stopped off the bench in the 3-2 Carabao Cup win over Brentford.
