Except Star Trek promoted the sort of colorblind, individualist egalitarianism that actual existing woke people will call you racist, reactionary, and/or fascist for endorsing today, so no, not really.
Conservative Star Trek fans really do fascinate me because watching these shows for the first time is just getting beat over the head with the woke bat the entire run time

I'm going to harp on the "would-be incels" thing some more and point out: Nice, respectable liberal women will talk about little boys the way the most despised lunatic fringe fascist men talk about little girls, and this is treated as normal.
The first novel I ever loved was the survival classic Hatchet, but recently I’ve learned that a *lot* of women despise this book, and see it is as something they were forced to read in school to entice the idiot illiterate boys in their English class. I dove into that tension!

When do we get our Milei?
America is a Latin American country now, so let me explain politics: We elect communists to kill the rich. But communism brings poverty & crime. So we elect fascists to kill the communists. But the fascists hand the economy to oligarchs. So we elect communists to kill the rich.

Obsessing over politics *is* the privileged position. Average people care about their bills and their families. Only terminally online schizos think everything has to be College Debate shit. The guy working at a gas station doesn't give *a fuck* about CSPAN bullshit.
Being “apolitical” and “not caring” is a privilege and actually is a stance. You will watch people fight for integrity and to protect rights of the underprivileged and sit on your fence so you can pander to bigots. You, by proxy, are then a bigot. STAND FOR SOMETHING. Ffs.

Counterpoint: if you could give every child in your town’s schools breakfast and lunch every day, but it required firing two district administrators, would you do it?
If you had to pay an extra $6 out of every paycheck, but it meant every kid in public school got free breakfast and lunch, no matter how much their parents make, would you do it?

This is no more corrupt than the line items to any of the thousand bullshit NGOs we have stolen from us to fund mentally ill activists to promote antisocial norms.
Some dude in California running a 3-person company got voters to give him $4.2 billion by authoring a ballot measure, which passed

Possibly the first, last, and only ballot proposition with no bad choices
BREAKING: Idaho voters projected to choose the Winchester Model 1873 as their official state gun. 63% chance.

Co robią u nas niemieckie wojska? Sprawdziłam, że na razie nie odbywają się ćwiczenia zagranicznych wojsk w Polsce.

Men get married and escape the groyper ghetto and lose interest in demoralization as soon as one thing, it could be anything, starts to go right for their lives. Nick hates his audience but he's attracted a bunch of broke demoralized losers because that's the energy he resonates
Nick Fuentes explains why married men are just birds collecting material for the nest while they slowly die "Just remember when you're having sex with your fat wife, it's because you're broke." [AF 1772]

“Doesn’t indicate something nefarious” =/= “Normal”
If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

I'm trying to get you to meditate on these basic realities, held together: 1. Texas hosts the most illegal aliens proportionally maybe even absolutely compared to any other state AND 2. Texas has gained domestic residents moving over from other states throughout the decade BUT 3. Texas is still more affordable than most states, and is currently mostly a buyer's market with prices continuing to fall in major metro areas. Meanwhile, California *lost* residents on net, but its home prices still rose! If you can look at all that and still think "illegals are the reason housing is unaffordable", you are retarded.
You're lying to yourself. Get rid of all illegals today and there are millions of vacant homes on the market.

There is an important reason that the right never wins the culture war overall, despite the left being so poor at tactics that they often end up shooting their own feet. That is the reality that logistics are more important than tactics, and tactics only matter once you have sorted logistics out. The left has sorted logistics out by creating patronage networks, while the right refuses to do so because it's still controlled by a curious kind of boomer paleoliberal who thinks that "free market" means "everything should pay for itself". Thus, both the cultural and political struggles of the right must be waged by broke young men as a side project to their careers, while fighting for the left is a career. The young men fighting for the right are simply expected to purchase their own rifles, ammunition, uniforms and kit, provide their own transport to the front, then organize themselves into units to defeat the communists. If you understand this, then you will understand why the retards manage to win a lot despite being retards. The left is giving people 100K fellowships for writing lesbian novels, while the right is charging its own guys $200 to listen to some theoretical ramblings about the antichrist. No, that's not a metaphor. I wish I had made either of those two facts up as some sort of hyperbole. Only the left understands how to get and use political power. The left understands that power is a form of currency. So if you want it, you have to buy it, with some other form of currency. Such as money. The right thinks that political power is a side effect... something that you naturally accumulate while doing business. Possibly this is because most wealthy right-wing people are investors. They start a project, or put money into it, and they expect to get their money back and then some. That's what they are used to. That's how investment works. But that's not how power works. And if you have wealth, but no power, then the people with power will just take whatever you built. I don't know exactly what the tech right, the business right, the wealthy right, should be spending on political power. But what they are spending is clearly not enough and in the wrong places. Because George Soros sure as hell isn't selling people tickets to listen to him talk.
As a young man in Republican politics I can explain why we don't "just volunteer" Positions are unpaid or underpaid, men are expected to be breadwinners We can't afford to hold these roles consistently Also the GOP actively pushes to have Less Men in Leadership

Pope Leo will vote in the upcoming US midterm elections via a mail ballot in the Vatican. 🫵 Will YOU be at the polls on Tuesday, November 3, too?

Whatever the quality of the AI audit, I'm not sure "doing it risks discrediting a political cause I champion" is the best response if you want to be treated as a disinterested empirical scientist.
Hello @elonmusk and @tylercowen , You have just decided to publicly attack our research, six days before the vote on the California billionaire wealth tax. Your attempt to discredit our work and that of our numerous academic colleagues is pathetic. Let’s take a look. 🧵
