Nine Christians were killed in Jordan and at least 60 more in Ethiopia over the past week. The two separate massacres in the Middle East and Africa underscore the dangers Christians worldwide face because of their faith.
In Jordan, gunmen opened fire on Christian mourners inside a church, killing nine people and wounding around 40 others.
In Ethiopia, attackers went from house to house, killing 60 Christians with guns and knives, destroying their homes.
The attacks come as Christians in the United States and around the world prepare to gather this Sunday for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, to pray for believers facing persecution because of their faith.

A whole family who remained faithful to Christ and received the crown of martyrdom together.
Their courage is a strong reminder of family faith.
Which saint’s story is strengthening you right now? 🙏
