I friggin love when people talk about Social Security like the government is giving us something. Giving us? I’ve been paying into that shit my entire working life. Every paycheck. Before I even see my money, they take their cut. Then when I’m old enough to collect Social Security, they’re going to send some of it back to me and act like they’re doing me a huge fcking favor. I’ve been thinking a lot about Vance vs Rubio in 2028. Right now? I’m Rubio. I like Vance. So before everybody loses their shit, this isn’t anti-Vance. I just think at some point Republicans have to stop trying to figure out who the next Trump is. There isn’t one. And I don’t want the old Republican Party back either. I have absolutely no interest in going back to a bunch of Republicans who talk tough during election season and then suddenly lose their balls once they get to Washington. Keep America First. Keep the fight. Keep calling bullshit when it’s bullshit. But let the next guy be his own guy. That’s why I keep coming back to Rubio. He knows his shit. Especially foreign policy. He’s been around forever and I think he has a better shot at keeping the Trump voter while also bringing in people who may never completely buy into MAGA. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Vance blows me away over the next couple years. But if you made me choose today? Rubio. And it really wouldn’t be that difficult for me.
