Maybe Emily Hay's best set yet. The CVCA junior is certainly powerful but it was her soft shots to the middle that were particularly lethal in the third.
@GreenmenVball @CVCAathletics
Big response from the Greenmen, especially after a couple great points to start the second by the Royals.
Junior Kaylie Liepins with a 10-point service run for Aurora and Josie Schadle with some huge contributions at the net.
@GreenmenVball @CVCAathletics
Great first set. The Royals rally from deficits of 4-0 and 17-12 helped by a devastating slide by junior Emily Hay and some prime-time spikes off the block by senior Mariah Howell.

Three straight aces by Dylan Tschudy forces a Royals timeout. An absolutely insane roll off the tape on one of those aces!

When these teams met in the regular season, it went to five sets. I look forward to covering the rematch with a district title on the line!

Well, it turns out with the recent warm weather, it's still Beech volleyball SZN. Senior Kourtney Beech was awesome in the third set. Shoot, all four seniors had great games tonight.
Fire up the Roma's pizza oven, the Wildcats are celebrating a W in their home finale.
Got to shout out the Red Devils, who have really raised their level as the night has progressed!

Great service run from Kaycee Was to rally from a 17-4 deficit. Great response from the Wildcats, capped by one more Gracie Shull to Emma Butler to Kaitlyn Clester bump-set-kill combo!

Have to say Emma Butler and Kaitlyn Clester are pretty darn incredible to watch.
Yes, that's the type of incredible insight you turn to ol' JLRSports and the Record-Courier for.

I should clarify that no one loves a late start more than me! Knocked out so much work while waiting for the match to begin!
Excited to cover some district volleyball tonight as Mogadore hosts Lordstown!
For those who happen to own watches, yes, we are running a tad late tonight. Start time will be around 7:50p.
