Dominic was a Recon Marine, Green Beret, police officer, husband, father, and one of those genuinely good humans who spent his life serving other people.
He was only 33 years old when pancreatic cancer took him from his wife, Jacole, and their two boys, Victor and Thorin.

Update — I’m being admitted to get started on steroids and pain meds. Surgery is looking like Tuesday. ♥️
Thank you for this Kat. On Monday I found out I have a tumor pressing on my brain stem. I was relieved to know why my head has been hurting but that turned to anger, stress, sadness all the things. Today, I finally have a consultation with a neurosurgeon. Prayers are so welcomed. It’s going to be a long recovery. 🙏🏼

When Super Bubba our brave brain cancer warrior was in the hospital yesterday, @HappyWheelsOrg stopped by his room and he picked a toy for himself.
Then he surprised me and asked for one more for his baby brother Chubba.
They had a sibling bag and he picked out a small toy.
It made him so happy 🥹
When a child has pediatric cancer, the siblings suffer too.
They often get left out and left behind at home because they can’t stay at the hospital.
I’m so proud of Super Bubba for thinking of his baby brother, Chubba.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to @HappyWheelsOrg for bringing toys and joy to hospitalized children @MUSCkids.

🚨Super Bubba’s latest update:
We got discharged today and sadly with no answers.
The team felt his breathing is stable. There is no immediate intervention needed before the weekend.
The throat scope did not happen. ENT did not follow through as promised. They were unable to get Super Bubba an endoscopy today because of lack of staffing and operating room scheduling.
They now want it done outpatient and awake so they can check his vocal cords for dysfunction to rule that out that as a cause.
He was due for chemotherapy today. We held it to see if the chemo is causing the gasping.
No guarantee but a possible effect.
We are praying his symptoms lessen and that this is the explanation. If it is, there is a medication that can help with those side effects.
If it is not the chemotherapy and we do not see improvement over the weekend, the next step is a sedated MRI to rule out neurological causes, including tumor growth/changes.
Although he got to come home, he felt worse when we left. He threw up in his car seat on the way out of parking garage.
He is home now and the gasping continues intermittently. He is happy to be home regardless.
I’m so thankful he was able play with his little brother this evening.
Them together, all of us together makes my heart happy. 🥰
They colored togther, Super Bubba even tried to color baby Chubba.
Oridinary moments of them playing together is a gift tonight.
Please keep praying, he needs relief, and we still need answers.
We need the good Lord’s guidance and divine intervention.

Tomorrow Would have been my youngest sons birthday. Joshua would have been 51 years old, but he passed away very quickly on Oct. 13th 2019, from a heart attack. Thankfully he had just walked into the house here after a long shift at work. I really am so grateful Angels helped him to get home. I feel him around me often, but I still miss his Big Bearhugs.
Take special care of your loved ones, old and young, tell them often how much you love them and appreciate them. You never know how much time you have, and death has a way of surprising us. LOVE YOU JOSH, WE WILL SEE YOU SOON.

A few weeks ago I asked you to lift up a family member after another heart attack. Your prayers meant more than words can say. Thank you for standing in the gap.
This Friday he goes in for his second heart surgery. We are placing him fully in the Lord’s hands.

Please pray for:
- Wisdom and steady hands for the surgeons
