Hi Albo, 👋 My mum has lived on a DSP her whole life too. She has an intellectual disability. I'm not a rich person, I don't own stocks, and I haven't made millions or have the network and reach, like yourself. I did however, purchase my mother a home the SECOND I could afford to get a second mortgage so she had stable housing, and was less of a burden on the taxpayer. I'd love it if there was avenues for people like my mum, on DSPs to be able to positively contribute to society, in a meaningful way. I know she would too. She does her bit, cleaning rubbish from the streets and collecting cans. She is well known by the locals in her small community. Plenty of us have come from nothing mate, but what strikes us as odd, is that you never helped your Mum into her own home, when arguably, you were the best placed person to do so. I've gotta run anyway, I've two mortgages to keep up with and yet another interest rate rise around the corner.
