Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell became just the fourth pair of teammates in NFL history to record 20+ carries and 125+ rushing yards each in the same game.
Their names now stand alongside legends like Hall of Famers Jim Brown and Bobby Mitchell in the record books. @buccaneers profootballhof.me/4zqB35q

Still a game tonight, but current NFL rankings for Bucs defense after Sunday's shutout win:
3rd total defense
6th scoring defense
2nd vs. run
9th vs. pass
1st in INT %
24th in sack %
5th third down
10th red zone
@gregauman with the win yesterday & holding the falcons less than 130 passing yards, would the passing defense rankings jump to top 10 or more borderline/close to top 10
Can I say the Bucs have the best defense in the league right now??? Or is that too Biased for me to say as a Bucs fan???.. who has a better defense right now???…side note..Bakers stats in the GIF is not accurate…AT All!!!! He had that 🪿🥚

WATCH: "Bake, he hands off a mean ball."
#Bucs RT Luke Goedeke has some funny jokes about how Baker Mayfield did not complete a single pass today and still won the game.

The Bucs beat the Falcons with ZERO completed passes. 😱
The last time a team won a game with 0 completions was the Bills in 1974 against the Jets.
Tampa set a new franchise record with 323 total rushing yards surpassing the previous record of 283 set in 2015. . Bucky Irving (170) and Kenny Gainwell (140) each set career-highs for rushing.
0 passing yds for the Bucs.. & still win the game… you gotta do what you gotta do… run the ball & play Defense… Baker had no chance today & he knew that as far as passing the ball. It was ugly but damnit this defense is great & Bucky is what he’s always been when he’s healthy!
