we can use SGD to control a robot arm - minimizing the distance to the target as a function of the angles θᵢ. Too low a learning rate gives slow inefficient learning, too high and we see instability

I consider myself a decent electrical engineer. However, the more I think about it, the more I am sure that gigabit ethernet is pure magic.
I mean, have you ever tried routing gigabit data on a dedicated PCB? Matched trace length and impedance and all that crap?
