Money Up & Time Down There are only two ways to grow a business: - Get more customers - Get them to spend more There are only two ways to get your time back: - Create a system - Get AI or a person to run it That’s it.

Napoleon let letters from his generals sit unopened for three weeks. His logic: most problems solve themselves. Only the ones that survive deserve your attention. Most founders do the opposite. They answer everything instantly and wonder why they never get to the important work.

Set a goal so big that you can’t achieve it until you grow into the person who can.

Life has one formula: Easy now, hard later. Hard now, easy later. Do hard things.

A high growth business is always broken. Your business should never not be broken. The only question is: does the leader know where the constraint is and how to fix it?

Being busy isn’t the goal. Being effective is. You don’t need a longer to-do list — you need a shorter one that actually grows the business. Scale doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from doing less, better.

For me, legacy isn’t about being remembered. It’s about what lives on in others because of you.

Poverty is real. Set backs are real. Fatigue is real. But there is a power that is greater than all of that. It’s greater than all of your fears and superstitions combined… It’s the power to rise above your circumstances and build the life you dream of.

Scale doesn’t solve problems. It reveals all of the problems you’ve been avoiding.

When PayPal started, its first product was an infrared payment system for Palm Pilots. It was voted one of the worst business ideas of 1999 - and there were a lot of bad ideas in 1999. But the team was relentless. They pivoted, iterated, and kept going. PayPal would go on to sell for $1.5B to eBay. Peter Thiel became a billionaire investor. Elon Musk built Tesla and SpaceX. You don’t get just one chance. You get as many as you keep taking. The only time you’re truly out is when you believe you are.

The most dangerous addiction in the world isn’t drugs or alcohol—it’s comfort. Comfort kills more dreams than failure ever will. It keeps people in jobs they hate. In relationships that drain them. In lives that make them miserable. Not because they’re happy—but because they’re comfortable. People don’t fear failure. They fear discomfort. But growth only happens in discomfort. If you’re not constantly challenging yourself, you’re slowly dying inside. Your comfort zone is the most expensive place you can live.

School punishes the exact skills that make people successful. In school, questioning the system gets you in trouble. Taking risks is discouraged. Thinking differently gets marked as wrong. But in the real world… The most successful people question everything, take risks, and think differently. School teaches you to obey. Success requires you to challenge. School rewards memorization. The real world rewards problem-solving. School teaches you to wait your turn. Winners don’t wait. If you want to succeed, you need to unlearn the school mindset. Because following the rules never made anyone successful.

If you work hard when no one's watching. If you block out the noise and don't get distracted by comparison. If you're consistent toward your goals. If you've been knocked down and keep getting back up. If you stay disciplined under pressure. Your time will come.

The world will always push you to be normal. To fit in. To conform. To settle. But being different—truly standing out—takes effort. It’s not easy. It’s not free. It requires continuous energy to maintain your edge. The price of distinctiveness is effort. The reward is greatness. 🔥 A must-read from @JeffBezos

People can retire from Government at the speed at which the elevator shaft can move to the limestone mine. This is not a joke.

In a press conference today with @elonmusk & @POTUS, Elon says that we obviously need a lot of people in the government but not as many as we have right now. They’re offering good retirement packages so that the employees who want to, can elect to retire. They then find out that only 10,000 people can retire each month. Why? Because to retire from the bureaucracy, you manually fill out the paperwork and then put the paperwork into a mine belt that takes the paperwork 230 feet underground into a limestone mine to be stored and manually processed. The bottleneck is both how fast the mine belt moves, and the manual processing of the paperwork. The retirement process takes multiple months. The system was created in 1955. This not a joke.

"Work life balance" positions work as the enemy. For me, work and life are the same thing. It's all just living. I don't believe in work life balance, I believe in work life integration.
