Happy with that. Wigan were woeful but we controlled it well and pretty fluid when attacking. Defence still all over the place which is worrying. Okoli and Thomas are just a bomb scare on the left side. But thought Smallbone was decent. Riis, Page and Doyle great too.

And get Kangasniemi in the team asap. What a cameo!

This is where Martin just doesn’t help himself at all. It’s a tap-in to get some fans on side by dropping Okoli for Kangasniemi.

Has to be a convincing win tonight. Anything less and we’re back to square one with Martin I think after a positive week last week.

So disappointing after a positive week. Really poor overall despite some terrible, arrogant refereeing throughout. Resorted to the slower build-up for some reason and it cost us.

It’s been so panicky. Where’s the confidence from the last two games gone? All the mistakes are back. Really concerning.

It was coming. We’ve been battered. Worrying stuff. Win two games playing faster, more meaningful passing football and now we’ve returned to the slow playing out. That’s led to more mistakes and here we are…

Leicester and Russell Martin were working under a transfer embargo during the summer. Foxes have a long road back from League One but belief remains they will return. #lcfc bbc.co.uk/sport/football/art…
Leicester City: Is Russell Martin turning things around at Leicester?

Leicester City: Is Russell Martin turning things around at Leicester?

Leicester are 10th in League One, 10 years after winning the Premier League. After hitting their lowest ebb, are there now grounds for optimism?

A huge result. Plenty of the ball still but it was possession with a purpose. Some great passing moves and ruthless in transition. Fair play to Martin for changing it up. Never thought he’d do it. Let’s hope we can build on it now 🤞 Doyle was superb. Braybrooke brilliant too.

That is so, so, so much better. Much less possession just for the sake of it and attacking really quickly. Change of system working a treat. Should easily be 5/6 up.
