No mention of @BlakeGendebien because he’s running a campaign formidable enough that @VP Vance has to come to a district Trump won by 21pts. It’s a last ditch effort to drag @constantino across the finish line and it won’t work.

The Rio Grande Valley is one of the best test cases for the shift in sentiment among Latinos who voted for Trump in 2024, @NickMiroff reports. He joined @HannaRosin to discuss what the political swings might reveal about the statewide Texas races: theatlantic.com/podcasts/202…

Poll after poll shows Latinos have soured on Trump & are shifting toward Democrats. WSJ’s recent poll had Trump’s job approval at 26% among Latinos.
Here’s more of the story behind those numbers, the Hispanic voters who turned on Trump & put Texas in play:wsj.com/politics/elections/t…

Sundays are about having barbacoa and Big Red with the family. But these days, everything is so expensive, and Carlos De La Cruz is making it worse.
I'm running because it shouldn't be this hard to make it to Sunday.

Grateful to have @EvaLongoria here in Texas to help us get out the vote. In 8 days, we're flipping Texas blue and getting right to work lowering costs.

Dolores Huerta was a hero of mine.
When she co-founded the National Farm Workers Association in 1962, people thought Dolores was crazy. “How are you going to organize farm workers,” she remembered being asked. "They are poor, powerless immigrants.” But that’s exactly what she did, helping thousands of migrant laborers working in brutal conditions make their voices heard, and demand something better.
Dolores spent the rest of her life fighting for marginalized communities, even as she herself faced sexism and abuse — including, as she revealed earlier this year, from Cesar Chavez and others within her own movement. She also came up with a pretty good slogan, “Si, se puede” — Yes, we can — that I too often get credit for. But as usual, Dolores got there first.
Michelle and I are thinking of Dolores’s family, the people whose lives she changed, and everyone who drew inspiration from her example.

New memo from The Bench (@ElectTheBench)
After E day don't just look at who wins, look at who overperforms.
Our bet: it'll be a smoke jumper in MT, firefighter in PA, fourth generation farmer in NC, teacher in FL, music star in the RGV, and religious leaders in IA, KS, and TX

Surprised the national Dem $ cavalry hasn't come in to this race late it would be delicious for the MAGA rapper running for Stefanik's seat to go down. Not too late to do so.
(Plus the D candidate has an S-tier campaign logo.)
