Don’t care what story you read/hear, John Chaney was 1000% the first coach to collect cell phones the nite before games. Flip phones w/ no screens but he could see that guys would be up all night & in their own worlds. Nobody could see what was coming around the corner better🦉

The Sixers will be donating 500 tickets to Philly community groups tonight and 500 on Sunday to help keep Knicks fans out of XMA
Tonight, the Sixers will be hosting 250 frontline medical personnel from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and PennMedicine and 250 local educators from Learn Fresh, Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia, The School District of Philadelphia, and Camden City School District.
Sunday, the Sixers will have 500 Moms for Mother’s Day
“We love this city and the intensity and passion of our fans. We know they’ll bring it tonight and Sunday at our big playoff games at Xfinity Mobile Arena. This is also a tremendous opportunity to welcome fans who may not have otherwise had the chance to attend, so they can experience the Philly playoff energy live. To that end, we are thrilled to partner with several leading community organizations and donate tickets to educators, frontline medical personnel, and local families for our upcoming home games. This will be fun!”

NBC Sports Philadelphia's @Jacko2544 on the Sixers versatility:
“I believe [the Sixers] are so versatile, they have the tools to compete and to navigate any team they play against. As a coach that is one of the biggest things you want. You want to have versatility in your lineup because mismatches mean everything, and if you have different tools you can pull from then everything is great. They have those tools, but they have to get there. Last night was only the 19th game that all the Sixers team has played together, but with that being said, you need to find momentum and it starts now”.
