Important data showing that lives can be saved by adhering to the national clinical care standard quality indicators. Its not enough to be good at one or two!!! @ANZHFR @ACSQHC
The @ANZHFR, based at NeuRA, continues to grow and has data on more than 110,000 hip fractures. Its 2024 Annual Report had a focus on performance against the clinical care standard. @JacquiCTClose

We are thrilled to welcome Jebby Phillips as a consumer representative for the ANZHFR @neuraustralia
Jebby originally became involved as a consumer for her local hospital after her husband had a serious medical incident. "All ended well but I thought I had a different perspective on the Australian health system. I hope my experience of a hip fracture may provide some useful information for anyone else who falls and breaks a hip."
Jebby's involvement with the ANZHFR will help us to better understand what matters to older people after hip fracture, and ultimately support better care and outcomes.

Prof @JacquiCTClose AO, kicking off @NSWFallsNetwork #FallsForum24 with a review of the Network’s history in the context of a growing evidence base. Much to celebrate & much more to be done in the context of financial constraint, changing priorities, no National or NSW strategy.
