Thank you for making my birthday something I'll never forget. Genuinely, I'm still here because of you guys. I'll never be able to repay everyone for everything but know, I'm so grateful. π€

I havenβt slept more than four hours since Saturday but this week has been so unforgettable. Iβm gonna keep pushing so we close out the week strong at Horangi Corp!
But, I canβt fucking wait to play Mass Effect again in my free time. Garrus needs me! π€
Someone from the IT department is crying in the cubicle next to me about her boyfriend being a piece of shit. So, six of us, all from different departments, are giving her snacks and telling her that her boyfriend should go fuck himself.
Yeah, this office is pretty cool. π
My coworkers at my office keep asking to see my stream so I just show them stream clips from when I was a camtuber. π Iβll viscerally explode in my cubicle before I expose that Iβm a VTuber.

happy late birthday bro
#jaepegs
I said this last night but genuinely, this birthday has been one of the best Iβve ever had.
Being the mom friend usually means that youβre stuck planning everything. But, itβs meant that people forget me when Iβm the focus. Everyone showing up this week has meant the world. π€
Hot take about VTubing on a Tuesday afternoon but as someone who was involved in the drag scene before getting into streaming, a lot of folks should try to be more cognizant of how theyβre adding or detracting from a stream during a collab.
When youβre collaborating with someone, you have to think about two things: Am I dominating the conversation OR am I adding anything to the viewing experience.
If youβre constantly talking over others, acting like the main character of a collab, or doing antics to constantly draw group attention, it comes off as tacky. Streaming is similar to improv, you have to give people space to perform. Feeling like youβre fighting to get a word in is a horrible experience.
Iβm sure a lot of us have experienced those giant collabs where you knew no one and felt like a complete wallflower, unable to even enjoy yourself or be yourself.
That being said, you also have to give your fellow performers content to work with. When people are trying to banter with you, consider returning serve or offering a joke or conversation in return. It goes beyond replying in a dead tone, βWoah, thatβs crazy.β The absolute worst feeling is trying to make a stream fun and feeling like no one else wants to do the heavy lifting with you.
I totally advise my fellow streamers to watch comedians, drag queens, reality television, interviews, just content that isnβt strictly streaming to get what I mean.
I know a lot of folks in this space donβt come from an entertaining background, theyβre just gamers. But, this is what separates good and bad collab experiences, in my opinion.
And ofc, lemme say this isnβt a subtweet at anyone! Iβve curated my space over the last few years so itβs something Iβve experienced less and less over time. However, itβs something Iβm always working on myself.
But yeah, being mindful can help you create some really fun streams and memories π
Iβm just saying, I think a Mass Effect DND campaign would be so cool to do with other VTubersβ¦! (I have an idea but no idea how to DM LOL)
