I'm all for welcoming new fans to Kingdom Hearts. That being said, fully grown adults would rather crash out and blame the game than learn to use a search engine. KH1 is a fantastic game. Just don't expect it to hold your hand the entire time

Genuinely such a truly fun world to explore. I was soooo thoroughly disappointed when KH2 didn’t have anything like this. (Cavern of Remembrance is amazing but wasn’t in vanilla KH2.) Nothing will ever top KH1 Hollow Bastion for me.

One of the coolest events/boss fights in the series. Love that the environment becomes the boss fight. Plus the moon keyhole is still one of the coolest scenes in the series. This world is just way too saucy.

Fun Jaiden fact: the first time I beat Kingdom Hearts in 2002, I got stuck on this fight and didn’t go back to finish this fight until after Hallow Bastion. 7 year old me HATED Ursula 😂

listen yall im not gonna sit here and say it’s hard to get lost in kh1. i get it, it is easy to get lost especially on a 1st play. i used to get lost as a kid too. whats not cool is insulting the game for it. bc we all were able to figure it out as kids. it’s not hard to learn.

It’s always funny remembering that we didn’t even have the option of looking up or down without using the first person controls on PS2. Having the triggers to only look left and right was wild.

Guys… KH1 is notoriously more difficult than the average KH game. But that doesn’t mean it’s unplayable. I just think some of yall lack whimsy and critical thinking skills 😭 (Also getting lost in an early stage world that has like 5 rooms and blaming devs for that is crazy)

It’s a rite of passage for first players of Kingdom Hearts 1 to get lost in Wonderland, Deep Jungle, or Monstro for awhile and learn how the levels progress or the hints they give you on where to go. Then it’s certain boss fights that give you grief until you learn your arsenal!

"Kingdom Hearts 1 rewards patience and curiosity." & THIS is the sad part about modern gamers that I noticed, alot of them are not curious A lot of them are not patient And this must be why, the game developers are putting so many handholding features to make games easier

Anyone new playing the series for the first time. Monstro is gonna be incredibly confusing navigating for first time Tip : if the door glows green, that’s where you need to go
