Angie Nixon’s candidacy represents an important kind of political disruption. Nobody thought she could win, and that’s precisely the point. We need strategies for building power inside political parties, not just declaring we won’t vote Democrat. Abstention is not a strategy. Political power has to be organized, contested, and won.
But instead of rambling to me, why not go build power inside of the Republican Party, if that’s your orientation? Instead you want to COMPETE with me with a new organization? See how backward that is? You don’t want to fight for political power. You want to fight for position/praise.
