The whole narrative “Islam is ducking man” never made any sense… Dude is going to fight the winner of Prates vs Morales who will then be the clear cut number one contender at that point. So how is that ducking? Either way, they are both tough fights. Islam is ducking no one. He’s the GOAT for a reason.

My guess for what Islam is planning… He wants there to be a clear cut number one dude which is why Prates vs Morales is happening. So that way he would be beating the without a doubt next best in the weight class. Then I think he moves up to middleweight & goes for triple champ status to close out the career.
