Again it should be 2-0. Great save by Jeacock and then a shot just fired wide of the far post 1-0 70' #ntfc
Warhurst absolutely hauled to the floor in the penalty area. Nothing given 1-0 57' #ntfc
Wow. How's he missed? Henderson whips to the back post. Looks like a tap in at the back post and the Stanley striker somehow puts it wide 1-0 53' #ntfc
Signs of life in the last 2/3 minutes. Best thing I can say about that half is that it's only 1-0 #ntfc
Again Maxwell needed to block at the front post. 30 minutes in and the Cobblers haven't really turned up. Accrington very impressive so far 1-0 #ntfc
Almost two. Cleared away from the line after a scramble. Cobblers still not in this. 1-0 17' #ntfc
Hoskins loses it on the left hand side. Ball is whipped across the face of goal and Warren fires in back post. Slow start punished 1-0 5' #ntfc
Jeacock a lucky boy. Shot came in from distance. Jeacock spilled it but gathered it just before the striker got there. All Accrington so far 0-0 3' #ntfc
Join us this evening. Let me know if you have any questions for Connor?
Also, have the Cobblers turned a corner properly now? Or do you still need convincing? #ntfc

Disappointing news - but I assume @zaib_05 had his reasons. I'm assured @NorthantsCCC tried to keep him, but I gather Hundred-hosting Hampshire - relegated in the Champo - will be his destination. From the County's point of view, it means chances for others in 2027 and beyond.
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club can confirm that Saif Zaib will be leaving the club following an agreement with another county.
The club would like to place on record its thanks to Saif for his effort and commitment throughout the years and wish him the best for the future.

With thanks to the peerless @Tim_Vickery for his take on #ntfc hitting Brazil espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/5…
Clever this. Colchester defence set, line high for the set piece. Work it short on a dummy run. Makes the ColU defence drop in to protect their box from open play. Means Warhurst gets a header on the edge of the 6 yard box rather than in between pen spot & edge of box #ntfc
📋 Made in Moulton.
🙌 A goal from the training ground for Matty Warhurst's third goal in five games.
🤝 Thank you to LCS for sponsoring Matty this season.
