Insulting. Idaho resident and former Governor @JayInslee is standing victorious because the WA Supreme Court overturned the will of the voters (so much for democracy eh?). He hates any form of energy that isn’t wind or solar. But let’s look at natural gas. Natural gas stands out as the cleanest option for fossil fuels due to its significantly lower carbon intensity during combustion. Compared to coal and oil, it provides a much lower-emission bridge for global energy production. Lowest Carbon Emissions: Natural gas emits roughly 117 pounds of CO₂ per million Btu. This represents about a 40% to 50% reduction in carbon dioxide compared to coal, and a 25% reduction compared to fuel oil, drastically lowering the immediate carbon footprint of power generation. 
 Minimizes Air Pollution: Unlike coal and oil, which release heavy amounts of sulfur dioxide, mercury, nitrogen oxides, and airborne ash, natural gas burns cleanly. It produces virtually no particulate matter, resulting in much cleaner local air quality and reduced smog. 
 Higher Generation Efficiency: Modern natural gas power plants operate at higher thermodynamic efficiencies than older coal-fired stations. This means significantly less raw fuel is required to generate the exact same amount of electricity, amplifying its relative environmental advantages. 
 Jay simply eats to get rid of better alternatives and move us to live off of unreliable energy sources like solar and wind. He even worked to get rid of hydropower- one of the cleanest forms of energy. He’s a complete and utter fraud. And now he lives in Idaho to escape the mess he created here.
