Youngest State Legislator in the United States. Serving the people of Franklin and Northfield in Concord because our community is worth fighting for. 🇺🇸🇻🇦🌲

Franklin & Northfield, NH
Joined April 2024
The Democrat Party has been co-opted by socialists at every level. They want to tax you out of your homes, strip away your parental rights, and destroy everything that has made NH the best place in the nation to live, work, and raise a family. Choose wisely in November.
Last night’s democratic debates showed that none of these candidates care about NH. It is all about a national agenda of hate and fear. 1. IF the stories they told about people being afraid to go to work because of ICE are true, either those people are here illegally or the left has succeeded is spreading so many lies that innocent people live in fear. 2. They all support socialism . It is stunning, but true. 3. None will work across the aisle. We are operating without a budget because democrats won’t come to the table. How much more of this does the country want? 4. They have no grounds to impeach the President but their hatred of him is their focus. They are going to play these games again and again. They said so last night. 5. They still have no respect for girls and women in their sports and in their spaces. The Democratic Party is not about working for the American people. They do not stand FOR anything. Their only goal and objective is to stand against American values and to punish President Trump.

Awesome seeing all the great costumes out trick-or-treating tonight! I had a wonderful time talking to folks and giving out candy and American flags to the kids! I handed out over 200 flags to some very excited, young Franklin patriots! Happy Halloween to the whole community! 🇺🇸🎃

Statement from Joe Sweeney: "New Hampshire Democrats are losing, and they know it. So they're cheating. The State Democratic Party is paying for unauthorized signs that impersonate Republican campaigns. When you can't beat your opponent, you pretend to be him. At the same time, illegal mailers are hitting New Hampshire homes with no disclaimer, no name, nothing. The Attorney General traced them to a D.C. agency and a Massachusetts print shop. The State Democratic Party paid that agency $58,437 two weeks ago. The print shop takes checks from Democratic committees all over New Hampshire. Then the party told the Attorney General it knew nothing. Fake signs. Anonymous mail. Dirty tricks from a party that can't win on the issues. Stefany Shaheen and Chris Pappas, this is your party and these are your races. Take the signs down and make your party show what it bought. Until you do, you own every bit of it."

UPDATE My informed delivery shows another mailer from a Massachusetts Democrat mail shop hitting Republican households today. Today’s mailer is promoting a third party candidate in the U.S. Senate race, in an attempt to siphon votes away from John Sununu. Democrats are resorting to dirty tricks to interfere in our New Hampshire elections. This Massachusetts mail shop, and the organization that funded these mailers, must be held accountable to the highest extent of the law. This will is election interference in the closing days of the campaign.

4 days until Election Day! Part of representing a community is appreciating its history, and I happen to be a longtime admirer of Franklin’s own Daniel Webster. So when I got the chance to help bring a piece of Daniel Webster history home to Franklin, I was beyond honored. Last year, I coordinated with the United States Navy, the Franklin Historical Society, Franklin Middle School, and the Speaker of the House’s office to not only return a historic and long-lost portrait of Webster from submarine USS Daniel Webster to Franklin, but also use it as an opportunity to teach our Franklin fourth-graders about their local history when they visited the State House! It was so much fun for me and my colleagues to host them, and it was amazing to bring such a fascinating piece of history back home (it’s now on display at the Franklin Historical Society, if you’d like to see for yourself!). It’s been my pleasure to serve Franklin and Northfield, both in session and beyond, over the past two years, and I would be grateful for your vote on November 3rd to keep the work going!

31% of the Democratic party voters are voting YES on Question 2. Yet, not a single Democratic office supports it.

5 days until Election Day! Being a legislator isn’t just about the votes you cast, but the impact you have on the wider community and the state as a whole. It’s been my pleasure to give back to the next generation of Granite Staters by mentoring them in how to engage with their government and start leading. Over the last two years, I have welcomed over 200 fourth grade students from Franklin and Northfield to the State House, teaching them about the history of our state and how our government works and is accountable to them and the rest of our neighbors. I was also delighted to kickstart a brand new civics education summer program for high schoolers, @LiveFreeandLead. Through this program, over a dozen students from around New Hampshire got a chance to learn about leadership from a bipartisan group of officials representing all three branches of government. It was a huge success for its pilot year and I can’t wait to expand it to more students next summer! I’m proud to be from this community and even prouder to serve it in this capacity. It’s my pleasure to open more experiences for our young leaders and give them the tools and connections they need to make the most difference.

.@SununuSenator SLAMS Chris Pappas for raising taxes on New Hampshire families: "You voted for $100 billion in energy taxes when you were in the Congress. You've consistently voted to increase taxes and that's not going to deliver affordability for anyone."

Just watched the WMUR Senate debate, and @SununuSenator was the clear winner. He effectively articulated his plan to stand up for New Hampshire and actually deliver, while calling out his opponent for failing to accomplish anything for our state during his 8 years in Congress. If the choice wasn’t clear before, it should be now: vote Sununu!

Forgot to share yesterday's Seven Days of Success post here on X, so here are both today and yesterday! Day 2: I’m proud to have supported several legislative efforts to stall rising costs and give more power to the voters. I voted for HB1300, which will give you a say on your property tax bill next week, and I also voted for constitutional amendments that, if passed, would’ve given you the chance to vote on permanently banning a state income tax. Unfortunately, these efforts were blocked. I also voted against $1.6 BILLION in new taxes, fees, and tax increases that were proposed just in the last two years. Franklin and Northfield deserve representation that understands that raising new taxes isn’t the answer because our community can’t afford it, and I will always oppose any proposal to increase costs for you.

Day 3: I’m happy to have supported the 2025-27 budget, which had the highest funding for public education in New Hampshire history. I also supported legislation to increase state aid for special education and ensure the state is always able to fulfill that obligation. And since the statewide education property tax (SWEPT) has not increased since 2005, every dollar of that growth is new state money. As a Winnisquam graduate myself, I will always fight for every student in Franklin and Northfield.

From my most recent column in the @UnionLeader. Local (and hyperpolitical) education officials are starting to spread misinformation about Question 2 on the local ballots (sometimes with local property tax dollars, ironically). unionleader.com/opinion/opin…

DEMOCRATS ARE THE PARTY OF HIGH TAXES. This year, Democrats were given the chance to permanently keep NH Income Tax free. What did they do? They voted to block it. If we hand Democrats a majority, they will pass an income tax. They've even filed the bill already.

My college student is going back to Virginia today after a week off. He is voting absentee in the state where he resides, not where he attends college. It isn’t hard.

We’re 8 days from the election, and I’m excited to keep getting out there and talking with our neighbors! Over the next 7 days, I’m excited to share some of the successes of the last two years and why I’m seeking your vote again on November 3rd. Across our community, I’ve heard from so many parents and students who engage in the trades, agriculture, and civics who are now benefiting from the excused absences provided by my bill, HB1573. Thanks to this legislation, students can now enhance their classroom learning with excursions that were previously unavailable or gated by the threat of punishment for absence. Every student learns differently, and I want to provide them with every opportunity to succeed, both in the classroom and beyond.

Beautiful weekend to be out doorknocking in Ward 3 and Northfield! Had some great conversations with voters on everything from tax hikes to empowering students to succeed. I’m proud to be running on a record of delivering more local control over taxes to voters with Question 2 on capping your local property tax bill, and more accessibility to student opportunities like Early College, Dual Enrollment, and CTE. Our community deserves strong leadership with knowledge, deep local roots, and the relationships in Concord needed to fight for our values. That’s why I’m running for reelection, and I hope I can count on your vote on Tuesday, November 3rd!

The Supreme Court has ruled that Student ID’s will not be allowed to be used as voter ID. The law stands. This will be one of the first laws the Dems reverse if elected. Get yourself out to vote! ✅ Protect NH voter integrity. ✅ Protect school choice ✅ Protect your wallet. Vote Republican! ❤️❤️❤️

THIS is why @KellyAyotte has my full support. Cinde Warmington actually turns my stomach. She sent her children to elite private schools but vilifies families who choose private school or homeschooling for their children. Hey Cinde!! When you chose to place your children in private schools—according to your math—you deprived your town of $4200 per child per year! Pay up!! Whether a child goes to private school and uses or does not use an EFA, it is the same financial result for the district school. Cinde does not like the fact that low and middle income families have a choice. Wealthy families like hers have always had that choice! Also, why weren’t public schools good enough for her kids?
Kelly Ayotte says the voucher program is barely a rounding error, but we know it's nothing but a scheme to take money from the poorest among us and hand it to the wealthiest people in our state. #NHPRDebate #NHPolitics
