someone just died after a peptide injection, and the details matter WAY more than the headline. Australian actor Richard Norton died after injecting CJC 1295 + ipamorelin. the coroner found that he suffered an anaphylactic reaction that led to cardiac arrest, but there were important factors people are going to leave out when they repost this story. he had reportedly been taking around double the prescribed amount, and he also had asthma + hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which were listed as contributing conditions. so no, the takeaway isn’t simply “peptides killed someone.” the takeaway is that allergic reactions are real and individual response matters. i’ve experienced this myself. tesamorelin has given me injection site reactions and it slows makes its way up to swell my throat. the first couple times i used cagrilintide i broke out in pretty significant hives. i’ve also heard similar reactions from people using MOTS C. this is why i’m always conservative introducing something new and why i tell people to start small and titrate slowly, especially with secretagogues. i also keep Benadryl and epi pen on hand for mild histamine type reactions. but important distinction: Benadryl is NOT a substitute for epinephrine or emergency care during anaphylaxis. difficulty breathing, throat or tongue swelling, fainting or rapidly worsening symptoms = emergency. i’m posting a video on this too because being pro peptide doesn’t mean pretending there are zero risks. respect the compound, respect your individual response, and don’t assume tolerating something once means you can never react to it later.

Big Pharma may be out for blood...but so am I. ✊ Yesterday's peptide news put into context. From a doctor who testified at the FDA in July ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Yesterday's peptide victory was great...but ultimately was only a DROP in the bucket compared to the sea of change needed. This is temporary non-enforcement that can be revoked at any time, not permanent 503a bulks list addition. Urinary HCG and FSH are still not permitted to be compounded federally, stripping the chance of parenthood from MILLIONS of Americans. This directly flies in the face of President Trump's fertility mandate...while those same vipers shake hands in the White House for cooperating with Most Favored Nation pricing. We have countless other life-changing therapies like stem cells, natural killer cells and peptides that only exist on regulatory KNIFE'S EDGE that could be axed at any time. Big Pharma wants their margins at all costs...which ironically includes your health. And I'm sick of it. The war rages on.

In my n=1 Tesa is much “cleaner,” didn’t have any issues, but some people do But CJC/Ipa started having issues, massive welts lasting for days (compounded product, not RUO) Same goes with SS-31 and MOTS-C Woke up with full body hives one night as well (can’t attribute to any peptide in particular but CJC/MOTSC likely culprit) Thankfully I had a Benadryl on hand Patients and Practitioners need to be aware of the risks here Some people simply do not respond well to certain peptides
Tesamorelin isn’t without risks either Overall, the secretagogues are going to get this whole peptide thing ruined

Who’s gonna tell him?
Peptides are now legal to prescribe. Here’s how you make $100k/mo for it: > Claude to build an app to track usage > add a marketplace with % affiliates > b2b outreach to other providers > Fastlane to create and run winning static and video ads Grind for a month, that’s it

Has anyone sent a vial out for testing from a compounding pharmacy? This would be an interesting (and expensive) experiment, but genuinely curious

Tragic story tbh Please be careful with peptides y’all, especially ones like MOTS-c, SS-31, MT2, and CJC/Ipa I keep warning about the risk of allergic reactions with these, and people still argue with me about how I should change my route of administration, dilute the peptide more, change vendors, etc. I started getting mild reactions from MOTS-c and pulled it from my protocol months ago. I’ve seen numerous reports of all the peptides above causing issues If you’re experiencing welting or hives, cut the peptide out immediately. It’s not worth it (Not medical advice. If you have trouble breathing or swelling in your face, lips, or throat, that’s anaphylaxis and you need emergency care right away)
