This is BS and I have an angle from inside the sports broadcast world. The scuttlebutt is this:
ALLEGEDLY…
- The Blazers went through a search process and legitimately hired Bell for his basketball knowledge and his fast thinking and insightful commentary.
- But moments after hiring him, the woke broadcast staff and other DEI pawns in club management freaked out about hiring a “white guy who will be on the mic for 25 years”
- They needed a way out. They knew about the comment made when he was 15!! because of the due diligence before he was hired.
- They used it by leaking it to the media. But they didn’t leak it to an investigative reporter with a reputable newspaper. No, they leaked it to a media insider.
- The story took off and they had the excuse they needed to fire him (translation: pull back the offer).
This is sooo disgusting.

Stories like this exemplify how the human spirit is stronger than anything that could happen to it. I wish I knew the names, of not only this man who scales 9 floors, but also those who excepted their fate and chose the air over the fire.
One of the saddest 9/11 stories I've read about.
A man on the West Side of the North Tower tried to climb down the side of the building using a technique known as a ''chimney climb.''
He managed to scale down 9 floors over the course of 30-40 minutes. He went down from the 94th floor to the 85th floor but was knocked off when the South Tower collapsed.
Indomitable human spirit. I wish we knew his name.
