As friends know, I don't do a lot of on camera interviews. Much prefer a good ad campaign.
But, occasionally a podcast.
Joined @DaviSusan at @the535news to talk pre-election.

New post: I can't tell if this is a spicy take or not, but the more I think about it the 2028 "ideas primary" won't look like 2020.
It's worth noting fans and critics of 2020 both emphasize that it could. But I think there's at least 11 reasons the world is too different. /1

Even though the bulk of Medicaid cuts don't kick in until January, they are driving the election and shaping hospital and insurance company decisions already

at @voxdotcom I wrote about how health care costs have come to dominate the midterm election, topping even housing, utilities and groceries as a top economic concern

The best way to explain 2026 is to compare these two word clouds, where we asked who Democrats and Republicans fight for.
The Democratic one is a mixed picture: some good, a lot of bad ("working people" is there, but also "themselves").
The Republican one is a car crash.

I have the receipts to prove I’ve taken on corruption here in Scranton to deliver for the people, and I’m going to do the same in Congress.

I’m about to step onto the debate stage to hold Rob Bresnahan accountable for using his seat to benefit himself at the expense of NEPA and share my vision for how government should serve the people.
Follow along here.
The hour-long debate will take place in the WVIA studios in Pittston, starting at 7 p.m. Read on for details about how to watch and listen on the station's broadcast and digital platforms.

Rob Bresnahan went to Washington to cut healthcare for the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania while he enriches himself.
In 6 days, we’re going to defeat him and elect @PaigeGCognetti to Congress.

Keep these numbers in mind about Rob Bresnahan's broken promises to NEPA:
He voted to cut $1 trillion from Medicaid.
He voted 3x to block the release of Epstein Files for victims who still don't have justice.
He voted 6x to keep the Iran War going and costs rising.
He voted 8x to support tariffs that have done nothing but hurt us.
for months every tweet from @tysonbrody, about tyson, or that has tyson fingerprints has been sending a jolt of endorphins through me. love to see someone so chill at the peak of such high powers getting a lil kudos politico.com/news/magazine/2…

Due to the recent attack ads in Ohio by the Ramaswamy campaign I am donating the maximum allowable by law to Amy Acton.

I don’t know @amyactonoh or her policies and frankly I don’t care.

Major props to the folks at Fifty Plus One for doing this digging, this is what you want responsible aggregators to look like
We were investigating Wedgewood for faking their data and emailed them for comment this morning, ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. They are trying to cover up their fraud with the "we were doing a social experiment" excuse.

As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment"
- Donations dried up
- Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do
- Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out
Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down.
To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate.
But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms.
Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust.
And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not.
If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS.
LOCK IN. SIGN UP FOR A CANVASSING SHIFT. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.
