I'm live streaming the new Affinity this Thursday 6th at 4pm GMT! I'll be looking at some of the new Photo-focused functionality we've implemented. Do come along and engage in some banter (or heckling 😅) youtube.com/live/yP-eWYsbRzI

Just a reminder that I'm live in about 15 minutes demonstrating some usability improvements in #AffinityPhoto 2.6 (plus looking at object selection if I have time!) Link: youtube.com/live/1oUKGrFq30k

Time to go live! This Thursday 23rd, I'll be previewing some #AffinityPhoto 2.6 usability improvements and new features (time permitting). Excited as I haven't done a live stream for ages due to vocal health—finally feeling ready to deliver! Link: youtube.com/live/1oUKGrFq30k

Just released V4 of my Photographic Retouching macros for #AffinityPhoto This update focuses on structure & texture enhancement options (see first image for details), plus a print-friendly PDF readme—finally! Free d/l: bit.ly/45FhrvD

V18 of my Astrophotography Macros for #AffinityPhoto now available! Star & Background Separation, Super Structure, Laplacian Structure Enhancement & more. Separate stars & object detail for independent retouching (WIP, but useful!). Free d/l: bit.ly/3DFDQwM

For those recently acquainted with #AffinityPhoto, it has a feature called Live Filters. You can apply filters non-destructively like adjustment layers and change parameters at any time, no layer merging/smart layers required. Lighting is a great example: bit.ly/3xpP3Bv

This year there seems to be an interesting trend of claiming that the #AffinityPhoto tutorials use an AI voice over. Perhaps I should be less precise, use colloquialisms and make the videos harder to understand for non-native English speakers...

If you’re coming from other image editing software, please do have a look at our official Photo tutorials. Straight to the point, educational about differences compared to other apps, and hopefully a bit inspirational! Start with the Basics playlist: bit.ly/3RhB1ZB

Even if you're only into one discipline (e.g. photography, graphic design), grabbing the entire suite for half price wouldn't be the worst idea. The apps all work together with a shared file format and functionality, plus it's a one-off price: all V2 upgrades, like V1, are free.

To go along with the release of #AffinityPhoto 2.4, here's a tutorial covering its new PNG HDR import & export support: youtu.be/zxhkSMgO2ew

Thought it might be interesting to post a variety of moon images I've photographed throughout November-December, all stacked and processed in #AffinityPhoto. The process of seeing what kind of colours and tones you can pull out during editing is great fun!

Here's a start-to-finish workflow tutorial for wildlife image editing in #AffinityPhoto, covering several non-destructive techniques: bit.ly/3Rldrud

V3 of my Photographic Retouching macros for #AffinityPhoto now available! Colour & luminosity separation, luminosity & frequency separation, more luma masked adjustments, more tone boosting options, blurry grain, diffuse glow/bloom & more! Free d/l: bit.ly/45FhrvD

For anyone struggling with "electric" blues, magenta solarisation and other colour artefacts when developing RAW files with intense colours, I've developed some free macros to help for the time being. PLEASE read the included PDF for setup instructions! bit.ly/3QTvIzy

V16 of my #astrophotography macros for #AffinityPhoto now available: super texture, tone compression options, polynomial contrast curve, a new tone stretching method & more! Free d/l: bit.ly/3DFDQwM
