I was casually talking to claude about ray marchers in an svo with rotations for shared leaves and happened to mention my solution of decoding the rotation matrix where I consider the center of each branch node as the origin and just swizzle the rot and dir xyz values and flip the signs as needed. It replied that solution was neater than what it came up with, and I've never felt more relevant. :D I get that it's probably just trying to keep me happy, but it's working!
