And stupid. You forgot stupid. Pierre Poilievre isn’t just desperate and feral, he’s a political disease. Pure MAPLE MAGA cancer who’s made himself a laughingstock. A generational punchline. How he can still stand up and give these insanely desperate and stupid speeches next to fuckwits like this fraud from the fake Canadian Taxpayers fake lobby group without having a nervous breakdown knowing the entire country is laughing at him, is superhuman stupidity.
🟥 😂😂 Ahhh... The worst Conservative Leader in history, Pierre Poilievre, has gone full feral. An impetuous survival instinct has kicked in, and he is throwing every conspiracy theory and disinformation nugget at the wall, hoping something will stick. 🤦🏻‍♂️ He is on his way out. It's now obvious. And he is trying to urgently cling to a fading illusion. He thinks he has nothing to lose at this point. But actually, he DOES. He is inviting a DEFAMATION suit with these desperate mistruths... 😌

3 year olds need sex education so they can know if someone is abusing them and how to report it. It is as simple as naming body parts *correctly*- bum, vulva/vagina, penis and these parts should not be touched by others. Also to report any unsafe touch to a parent or teacher.
Why does a 3 year old need sex education?

He picked an air rifle up off the shelf in a Walmart and carried it round the shop while he talked on the phone. The shop sells them. Ohio is an open-carry state. The police shot John Crawford almost the moment they came through the door. Beavercreek, Ohio. 5 August 2014. He was twenty-two. He was in the Walmart. He had picked up an unpackaged MK-177 air rifle from the store's own sporting goods section and he was walking round with it while he shopped and talked on his mobile, the way anyone handles a thing they are thinking about buying. A customer, Ronald Ritchie, rang 911 and reported that a man was pointing a rifle at people in the store. Officers came in and shot him. The store's surveillance video was later released, and here is what it shows. He never aimed it at anyone. He is on the phone. He is holding it down. The officers fire almost immediately on entering and seeing him. After the video came out, Ritchie walked his account back. His words: "At no point did he shoulder the rifle and point it at somebody." He maintained that Crawford had been waving it around. He was never charged with anything. A grand jury declined to indict the officer who fired, Sean Williams, on any count. In 2017 the Justice Department declined to bring federal charges and he returned to full duty. Now hold the three facts that make this unbearable. The item was merchandise. It came off the shelf of the shop he was standing in, which sells it, to anybody who walks in. Ohio is an open-carry state. Carrying a firearm openly there is lawful with or without a licence. Even if the thing in his hands had been a real rifle he had brought in himself, he would have been breaking no law. He was on the phone. He was mid-conversation with somebody when it happened. And there is a detail after his death that you should know, because almost nobody does. Tasha Thomas, the woman he had been seeing, was taken in and questioned by a detective immediately afterwards, while she still did not know he was dead. Reporting by the Guardian describes the detective threatening her with jail during that interview. She died in a car crash in Dayton on 1 January 2015.

Last night Trump said he could have won Vietnam in a week. His plan was “going after Ho Chi Minh City.” Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. Our ally. The enemy’s capital was Hanoi. We bombed it. He called the presidents who fought that war stupid, then explained how he’d have won it by attacking our own side. 58,220 Americans died in that war. Trump got five deferments. Now he’s telling the rest of us how easy it would have been. He’s had more than fifty years to learn which side we were on. He still hasn’t. That alone should disqualify him from sending anybody else’s kids to war. Instead, he’s weighing more strikes on Iran after Tuesday. His administration has reportedly considered using the “mother of all bombs,” the one he calls “like a tiny nuclear bomb.” The man who thinks we should have bombed our ally’s capital gets to choose the targets.

There’s nothing to cancel or roll back. SOGI is not curriculum but a set of optional evidence-based resources for teachers who believe in creating safe & inclusive classrooms for everyone, which is what the BC Human Rights Act and Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms requires.
Cancelling SOGI is like saying we are cancelling compassion

It’s performative conservative theatrics for their base it won’t change how teachers try to make every student feel accepted and included.
Once more, for the kids in the back, there is no "SOGI program". It's just a resource. A toolkit. That's it. It's not even mandatory, so...they're going to repeal something that was never policy to begin with. Conservatives are dumb. #bcpoli

We are literally doomed American High School English Teacher reads real responses from her student’s assignment after reading The Great Gatsby We have a serious education issue in America and if we don’t address it, we have a horrible future ahead of us These kind of responses are to be expected because 12th grade reading results in 2024 in America showed that reading levels right now the lowest they’ve ever been since the assessment began in 1992

Parents, superintendents, principals and vice principals, independent school leaders and teachers all advocated for SOGI 123. We all participated in the BC Liberal’s press conference.
Replying to @JamesSanyshyn
How much should the union go to bat for curriculum stuff that really, parents & school boards should be advocating for— given that we are slated to be renegotiating a contract with this govt in a year?

Men are so dramatic about being called useless when women are repeatedly referred to as “bitches” and “hoes” in songs and say nothing. Apparently, misogyny is entertainment, but the moment men get a taste of the same contempt, it’s suddenly a societal crisis.
“Misandry doesn’t exist” meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter has 100K people at Lollapalooza chanting “USELESS” about men. imagine if the roles were reversed.

Hey @LDoerkson Before you repeal #SOGI123, please read UBC's evaluation. It found reductions in bullying for LGBTQ+ AND heterosexual students. What evidence supports removing it? saravyc.ubc.ca/2024/10/09/re… #BCpoli

Hey @BCConservCaucus @Conservative_BC @LDoerkson Please tell me you are at least going to read the research on how #SOGI keeps all kids safer in schools before you bend to the minority. saravyc.ubc.ca/2024/10/09/re… #BCpoli #ScienceFirst

They don’t have the authority to cancel SOGI. Teachers will keep using it because it causes no harm and protects vulnerable kids that need it.

5 things I'd do differently if I were a psychology undergrad again: 1. I’d ask “were there any women studied?” when we cover the Stanford Prison Experiment 2. I’d ask “were there any women studied?” when we cover the Milgram Obedience Experiment 3. I’d ask “were there any women studied?” when we cover the Asch Conformity Experiment 4. When the prof answers no to all 3, I’d ask “why do we study men’s behavior and call it ‘human behavior’?” 5. I’d enroll in a feminist theory class

I genuinely don’t know how we’re supposed to share a society with people like this. She’s entirely too arrogant and smug for someone so genuinely devoid of decency or intelligence.
