🔴 Llanelli Town AFC U19s win their first game of Phase Two after a 2-1 win against Penybont at Stebonheath Park in the Genero Adran U19s Championship Conference.
First half goals from Sophia Bevan and Abigael Pritchard secured the victory for The Reds.
Amy Chamberlain scored a late goal for Penybont, but after conceding a late equaliser to Cascade last week, Llanelli see the game out on this occasion for three points.

🟡 Knocked off top spot on Friday, firing back to it on Sunday.
Barry Town United put seven past Connah's Quay Nomads to go three points clear at the top of the Genero Adran U19s Premier Conference. Lucy Coles and Phoebe Birnage both scored braces on their way to the win.
Rhiannon Khan, Ava Coomer and Hope Rees also scored, as Barry bounce back from recent defeats.
They were originally 2nd going into Sunday's fixture after Carmarthen Town went top for the first time in Phase Two, with a dominant 5-1 win against Briton Ferry Llansawel.
Ophelia Jenkins scored twice to put Carmarthen ahead, before an own goal made it three at the break.
Megan Copeland hit back for Ferry, but further goals for The Old Gold from Grace Dobney and Libby Hayhurst wrapped up the win, and a fourth consecutive win for Huw Evans' side.
Last season's finalists met again, but wouldn't be separated, as Wrexham claimed a point in the capital against Cardiff City in a 1-1 draw.
Both goals came just after halftime, with Elffin Bryant giving The Bluebirds the lead. Grace Morris equalised for Wrexham, as both sides claim a point, which sees Cardiff City finish Matchday 10 in 2nd place.
In the Championship Conference, a six-goal thriller at Stebonheath Park saw Llanelli Town AFC and Cascade YC play out a 3-3 draw, a first point for Llanelli of Phase Two.
Grace Rodde put Llanelli ahead, before a ten minute brace from breakthrough star Trinity Reakes put Cascade ahead.
Another brace would be scored in the game, this time from Llanelli's Danni Webster. The attacking midfielder equalised the game before halftime, and then put the hosts ahead just before the hour mark.
It looked like Llanelli were on their way to an important victory, but Emily Wells equalised late on for Cascade, in an entertaining encounter.
Swansea City extended their lead on the chasing pack, in a 10-1 win against Penybont.
Susanna Cunningham, Grace Tilley and Alix Green all scored braces, whilst there were also finishes from Ellie Gibbins, Lowri Jones, Megan-Ruby Clarke and Grace John.
Impressively, Penybont goalkeeper Georgia Tarullo scored the only goal for the visitors from a kickoff.
With only a few games left of the season, I feel like now is the time to say that this will be my last season with Llanelli Town.
Over the last four seasons I’ve covered just shy of 300 games, averaging over 70 games a season, with three of those seasons being as a volunteer.
Before joining Llanelli I was mainly covering rugby and wasn’t really getting anywhere with it, but moving into football gave me a different opportunity and from that point I never really looked back.
When I first joined I came in as a photographer, but over time I found myself picking up other responsibilities like graphics, matchday programmes and anything else that needed doing, just trying to help wherever I could.
From covering all sides of the club, Men’s, Women’s, Development, Academi, Veterans and even a disability tournament, it got to the point where alongside everything else I was involved in I was doing something for someone pretty much every night of the week.
I’ve been there to cover it all, from the JD Cymru South title-winning season to the Welsh Cup semi-final run, and even documenting the harsh reality of the return to the Cymru Premier, missing just two games along the way.
I would like to say a thank you to all those who made it possible for me to do what I did. Working with Alex and Jordan made up a great media team and made it all a lot more enjoyable.
Working with Llanelli came at a time where I was questioning if I wanted to continue doing sports photography and it ended up being a big milestone for me. A lot of the connections and relationships I’ve made have come from working around the club which I’ll always appreciate.
Over the last few months I’ve realised it’s time to make a change after dedicating so much time to the club. Thankfully an opportunity has come up to work more frequently with the FAW so I will still be around the Cymru Leagues.
To everyone who has supported me along the way, players, staff, management, parents, volunteers and supporters, thank you.
