Dubsy, the only known working steam crane tank in the world has returned to steam for the first time since 2000! Dubsy had a previous life at the local Shelton Steel works at Etruria, 1901 - 1973. Details coming soon on plans to steam her with former Shelton loco Hawarden.

Welkom terug in Amersfoort! The locomotive here is NS 1251, the last of the NS Class 1200. These locomotives used to be ubiquitous in the rebuilding of Netherlands, but here remains the last example, beautifully kept in the original livery by De Karel Foundation. #FursuitFriday

Train facts you probably didn't need but you'll get them anyway for this #FursuitFriday 😁🚂🐶 📸 @LickTheProto Here we see a "Seřaďovací návěstidlo", essentially, a shunting signal. 🇨🇿 Each country have their specific shunting signals. Most of them tend to show similar colors for their meanings. In Czech ( and Slovak ) railway rules, blue light means shunting is not allowed, while white means shunting is allowed. Fun fact: In Czech railway slang, these signals are referred to as "ranžírka". This is because the name comes from the German word for shunting: rangieren. 🇩🇪 Do you know what's your country's shunting signals aspect colors? 👀
