I love cyberpunk so much. I've walked countless hours across cities all over the world always hoping to see merch among the other anime, manga, video game, and tcg stockpiles. Even in Tokyo and Bangkok cyberpunk merch is hard to find. Today is the tcg pre-release, a day I hope will shift the availability away from famine and towards saturation. I put 4 packs on my CC... and one of them was a godpack worth far more than what I spent. Even got the one I most wanted, Sasha :) πππ

I hope Cyberpunk Orion has an achievement for non-lethal playthrough. I only killed 3 people in around 200 hours of gameplay in 2077.
2 of them the first and only time I tried driving a fast car when I accidentally veered onto a sidewalk*, spared Smasher, and killed myself (technically 3 times).
Never played the other endings, Johnny ending wasn't available.
* (I ran or ποΈ the rest of the game unless car was required)
Every single time I've scooted over since witnessing this as a child, I've made the noise. It's so stupid, I love it. π

NEW: Mysterious black triangles were spotted ripping through the air, traveling 1,800 mph over secret US military bases this past year, according to the Pentagon.
According to the new government files, the triangles were spotted at least three different times.
Agents say they were working at a surveillance station in an undisclosed mountain range when they saw the black triangle coming over the horizon.
"We estimated the objectβs wingspan at approximately nine to 15 feet, its depth at six to nine feet, and its thickness at one to two feet," they said to the FBI.
According to the report, the triangles made no sound, had no exhaust, and showed a consistent heat signal when scanned by their thermal device, meaning it didn't register hotter anywhere as an engine would.
"The exterior presented as a [seamless], featureless surface lacking any discernible structural discontinuities, propulsive apertures, intake structures, aerodynamic control effectors, or cockpit features," a memo said.
Government officials say the objects were not American technology.

Anyway, I've updated my server from PHP 5.2 to latest now.
Likes are private but 90% of mine are related to Cyberpunk (brand). 2077, Edgerunners, TCG, merch, the music, everything.
Edgerunners 2... was totally ungrounded. The hacking, the ridiculous EM mega mech stuff, selective telekinesis of even a strip of cloth, the lack of chemistry between anyone, bits get set up with zero follow-up (35mm splash screen never mentioned again), no ice bath or netrunner suits or threat of overheating, main character has the same name as the first season main character, no mention of Smasher dying in 2077, the only "adult" theme was the never-interesting saturation of gore. And the music... fit it perfectly. π
We expected a bit of depression from a great storytelling rollercoaster but got it instead from its absence.
I am praying for it to get more seasons so this one fades away.
Silver lining: The accompanying game update, even without the contrast, is incredible.
Street Fighter was amazing. The actors were so fun in these roles, the animated bits were works of art, and the non-self-serious tone was delightful. Bison, Guile, π€β¨
Hoping for an extended director's cut to fix some bizarre editing towards the end though. Skipped fight, b&w flashback to 2min ago, and an inexplicable mindset 180 in Ken's decision with an equally jarring seeming teleportation to a location I'm not sure how he even knew about. Thought it was a local censorship edit that broke things but turns out not.
