The now former chief counsel at FDA, which receives half its revenue from pharma, now gets a cushy job at a major law firm that directly represents pharma companies.
He’s not alone: the law firm also recently hired the former chief of staff at FDA and the former director of FDA’s Office of Compliance and Biologics Quality in CBER.
I am sure the media will do a huge expose on how this revolving door is a serious threat to drug and vaccine safety... lol. Of course it won't. The media is much more worried about the few million dollars medical liberty groups spend to promote safer vaccines and medical liberty than the billions industry spends to improperly influence the regulatory process, medical establishments, medical journals, politicians, etc., and the media.

🛑Kellogg: The longer the war goes on, the better for Ukrainians
In an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalia Moseychuk, Keith Kellogg said:
“As for the timeline, I don’t know. I think the longer this goes on, the better it is for you [Ukrainians], in the sense that he [Putin] will eventually have to understand that this is a zero-sum game for him. He is not going to win.”
Well then. As a Ukrainian, perhaps I can explain to Mr. Kellogg what “the longer this goes on” actually means for those of us fortunate enough to be the beneficiaries of all this alleged “better.”
🚩The longer the war goes on, the more soldiers are killed, maimed, disappeared, or taken prisoner.
🚩The longer this war drags on, the more men are forcibly mobilized and sent to the front to kill and die for the interests of political elites and international capital.
🚩The longer it goes on, the more children are killed, mutilated, traumatized, or orphaned.
🚩The longer it goes on, the more women become widows and the more parents bury their children.
🚩The longer it goes on, the more people lose their homes, become internally displaced, or join the millions of refugees scattered across the world.
🚩And the longer those refugees remain abroad, the more of them put down roots, build new lives, and decide that returning to Ukraine is no longer a realistic option.
🚩The longer the war goes on, the more Ukraine is hollowed out demographically, economically, socially, and politically — increasingly resembling not the flourishing sovereign European democracy we were promised, but a failed, criminal, corrupt, authoritarian state, a dependent periphery, and a military outpost of the West.
🚩The longer the war goes on, the longer the cash registers keep ringing for arms manufacturers.
🚩And the longer the war goes on, the longer politicians safely thousands of miles from the battlefield can discuss Ukrainian sacrifice as an interesting exercise in strategy, attrition, and “zero-sum games.”
Because apparently the war getting longer is “better for Ukrainians” when the Ukrainians doing the dying are somebody else.
Mr. Kellogg will not be dragged from his home and mobilized. His child will not be sent into a trench. His grandchildren will not step on a mine. He will not wake up wondering whether someone he loves is dead, missing, captured, or lying unidentified in a field.
He gets the privilege of talking about how much longer the war should last.
Ukrainians get the privilege of providing the bodies.
So spare us the lectures about how prolonging this catastrophe is somehow “better for us.” There is something grotesquely easy about discovering the strategic benefits of a longer war when every additional month is paid for with other people’s blood, other people’s children, other people’s homes, and other people’s futures.
For people like Kellogg, another year of war is a geopolitical calculation.
For Ukrainians, it is another year of funerals of hopes.

Additional facts coming out about the two deaths in Lancaster:
1. One of the deaths claimed to be “measles-associated” by the state was the death of a newborn male on August 14th. The baby’s spleen was lacerated, according to coroner, Dr. Stephen Diamantoni. The coroner ruled out measles as even a contributing factor because “there was no swelling or enlargement whatsoever” of the baby’s spleen and there was “massive blood loss.”*
2. The newborn’s mother is alive, and she was not the second death claimed to be “measles-associated.”
3. The coroner has no information about the second purported “measles-associated” death announced by the state. It’s possible he has not yet received the information, but eventually will. It’s also possible the individual died in a different county. The coroner says the law requires the death be reported to his office.
Additional thought on these facts:
This is not the first time that a purposeful release of limited, misleading, and/or false information by health authorities is used to fear monger and cast blame and judgement on those who decline one or more vaccine products. Think back to the two “measles deaths” in Texas, claimed last year, and ask yourself how much quicker we would have learned the truth there if we had someone like PA’s Commissioner, Josh Parsons, pulling back the curtain in live time. With the information we were able to eventually obtain, we concluded that neither of those deaths were measles deaths either.** This didn’t and doesn’t stop the media or health authorities from “claiming” these two deaths as measles deaths. Maybe this time around, with Commissioner Parsons peeling back the curtain in real time, we may get a somewhat different outcome.

Governor Shapiro's unseemly rush to Lancaster County to convene a national press conference and his giddy delight in announcing two measles deaths was a morose commentary on the contemporary political dialogue. The performance was a replay of the Democrats' COVID playbook: fearmongering, misinformation, finger-pointing, and the weaponization of infectious disease fears for political gain.
The announcement appears to have been premature, and the deaths may even have been altogether fabricated by one of the Governor's hopeful staffers. The Lancaster County Coroner says that it has no record of any measles deaths. State law requires that all measles deaths be reported to the coroner.
Governor Shapiro shattered tradition and violated standard public health policy by refusing to share information with the County Health Department or CDC.
Since I have been in office, CDC has had a superb record of cooperation, information sharing, and professionalism with blue- and red-state governors and health officials. Those collaborations have resulted in effective control of the global measles outbreak in this country.
Governor Shapiro got his headlines. He correctly gambled that the slavish mainstream media would dutifully amplify his scolding without any effort to check his facts.
Measles questions.
Let’s be clear- when the Governor comes into our county and holds a press conference with PA Department of Health and Penn Medicine Lancaster general Health and states there were two “measles-associated deaths” here, with the underlying assertion that the two people died FROM measles, and they are the first deaths from measles in 35 years, and that announcement sets off numerous media reports uncritically repeating that two people died FROM measles in Lancaster County, and Lancaster County elected officials then get questions about this – it is totally fair for me to ask for relevant information on those deaths.
Asking questions is not “pro-measles.”
Asking for information that should have been provided at the press conference is not “anti-science.”
It is simply wanting the whole story for my constituents.
When officials who hold a big press conference and make big headlines – those officials owe us more than the headlines. They owe us the whole truth. They owe us accurate information by which the people of Lancaster County can make decisions about their health and safety.
It has been about 24 hours since the press conference. We do not have any answers. Of course journalists should also be asking these questions rather than uncritically repeating something.
Any deaths from measles are required by law to be reported to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office. I have spoken at length with both a senior staff member from that office and the Coroner himself. They currently have zero measles deaths in Lancaster County. They have one death of a person who died WITH measles, but not from measles. We do not know if the state is counting that one. Nor do we know anything about the other death that officials reported yesterday.
Is there an unlikely scenario where a patient from here got measles and sought care outside of Lancaster County and died there and it was reported to another county coroner? Yes. I am open to that or other unlikely possibilities. But if one of these unlikely scenarios is the case, the people holding the press conference had, and currently have, a responsibility to provide that information.
The law DOES allow release of more information. Demographic information that does not identify the patient may be released.
I reached out to Penn Medicine LGH. No response.
I reached out the Governor’s office. No response.
I talked with our Lancaster County Department of Public Safety Director. He has no additional information from the state.
I asked questions this morning at our Board of Commissioners meeting of Commissioner Alice Yoder who was at the press conference yesterday and is a former official at Penn Medicine LGH. She did not have any answers. (This exchange is on video and will be available later today.)
So as of right now, we have ZERO information that corroborates the idea that there were two measles deaths in Lancaster County. Again, everything stated could be accurate. But no one in authority has been able to say that, nor have they even tried to say it.
To me it is a big deal if the Governor comes in and gives a press conference and then no one can or will identify simple details around what was stated and what then generated major news stories.
Transparency is owed to the people.
It is incumbent on those who held the press conference to clear this up.

The working-age population is at most 10 million.Last year Ukraine lost nearly 800,000 people — due to high mortality and emigration abroad.
Last year there were THREE times more deaths than births in Ukraine. This year — FOUR times more deaths than births.
We are paying an unacceptably high price for the continuation of the war. We are paying with the lives of people who can never be brought back.
If the war continues, will Ukraine have another 35 years?
Only peace can save the Ukrainian nation.

The political leaders of NATO countries in Kiev today chant that they “stand with Ukraine.” Then why do they continue boycotting diplomacy and negotiations for 4.5 years, when the vast majority of Ukrainians want negotiations?
Why is it that nobody representing the majority in Ukraine is permitted to appear in our media? Why is it taboo for our political-media establishment to discuss the European security architecture, while it is normalised to argue for deporting Ukrainian refugees, lowering the conscription age, and conscripting women to avoid any peace talks?
NATO is working hard to keep its proxy war going, and this war has no more to do with “standing with Ukraine” than the occupation of Afghanistan had to do with allowing girls to go to school. It is truly frightening that grown adults can be convinced that great-power rivalry is actually about helping the disenfranchised around the world. These leaders do not "stand with Ukraine", they are selling a war to their public.
