横浜ベイブルーイングとオーナーブルワーの鈴木真也が創業15周年を記念して、ブロックパーティー＆ビアガーデンを開催します。

15-Year Anniversary Celebration!
Yokohama Bay Brewing and its founder-brewer, Suzuki Shinya, are celebrating 15 years with a block-party and beer garden this Saturday, 4-9pm, along Yoshidamachi main street (Kannai-area).
The Alsatian pils, featured in the winter edition of the Japan Beer Times, is a style that originated in the Alsace region of France around the 16th century when the climate cooled and more pubs took up beer brewing (as opposed to wine).
He wrote, “Today Alsatian Pilsners can showcase the full palette of French hop aromas from spicy, herbal, and floral to citrus, stone and tropical fruits. The hops express a terroir similar to that of Alsatian white wines.”
ジャパン・ビア・タイムズの冬号で取り上げた「アルザス・ピルスナー」は、16世紀頃、フランスのアルザス地方で生まれたスタイルです。気候が冷涼化してブドウ栽培が難しくなり、ワインに代わってビール醸造を手がけるパブが増えたことがきっかけでした。
そうしたホップが体現するテロワール（農産物が育つ土地固有の風土や生育環境を指すフランス語由来の言葉）は、アルザスの白ワインにも通じるものがある」。日本でこのスタイルを手がけるブルワリーには、Rough & Laugh Brewing（静岡）、沼津クラフト（静岡）、Farmentry（奈良）などがあります。
