This is unprecedented: The most powerful union in Nevada has unendorsed Democratic lawmakers who favored the gaming industry over the Culinary when the union tried to pass a bill to give it leverage in contract negotiations. This is going to roil the campaign waters.

SB441 was signed into law by Governor Lombardo and hurt guest room attendants and our jobs. The Culinary Union has chosen to *not* endorse politicians in the 2024 Primary who previously had an endorsement, but who disappointedly voted in favor of passing SB441. Candidates, who are no longer endorsed, are crossed out in red on the 2024 Primary Endorsement Guide. Culinary Union will re-evaluate all endorsements ahead of the November general election.
