Unfortunately, this morning my "No Jab No Pay" Repeal Bill was voted down by the Senate with only Senators @PaulineHansonOz, @MRobertsQLD, @SenatorTWhitten, @senatorbabet, @SenatorSeanBell and myself voting in support.
It’s my view that it is fundamentally wrong to tie childcare payments to vaccination status.
Australian parents are entitled to object on medical or other grounds.

In June 2026, 75 year old Keith Blessing & his 72-year-old wife, Di, were critically injured during a horrific home invasion at their Torrington, NSW property by a Violent knife wielding home invader.
Keith was repeatedly stabbed & suffered severe abdomen wounds, Keith managed to retrieve his fully licensed legal firearm & shot the violent intruder as he attempted to re-enter their home again & finish the couple off.
NSW Premier Chris Minns initially called Keith a ‘hero’.
Local NSW Police commanders praised the couple's bravery under life-threatening circumstances & extreme duress.
Police are now punishing the victim for literally defending his life.
Self preservation & fighting for your survival is NORMAL.
What is NOT normal is a Government expecting you to get stabbed to death, sacrifice yourself, lay down & die & not defend your life & the lives of your family under threat.
We need to reignite the Self Defence debate & Castle Law.
The Government allows crime & violence to spiral out of control, removes our means of self defence then punishes those that refuse to be murdered by criminals that the Government allows to roam our streets.
This is abuse.
They won’t even allow women to carry pepper spray.
Enough is enough.

This is akin to a government sanctioned execution. Disarming a man who just barely survived a brutal violent attack, surviving ONLY thanks to his guns... now the NSW police are taking his guns so that if someone decides to make an example of him, he can't defend himself a second time.

Keith Blessing saved both himself AND his wife from a violent home invasion using his legally owned rifle.
Premier Minns called Keith a HERO, the NSW Police praised him, both he and his wife survived what would otherwise have been a fatal attack, thanks to Keith and his firearms.
They were the VICTIMS of violence.
Now? NSW Police have REVOKED HIS LICENSE and taken his guns, declaring he is 'Unfit' to be a gun owner in NSW.
This needs to be the biggest story in Australia right now. Never before have we had such a CLEAR example of VICTIMS being punished, and the LAW ABIDING being disarmed for the PROTECTION OF CRIMINALS.
You'd better believe I'm angry, you should be too.

The message from the government is simple...Vaccinate your children with everything the government says or lose access to family payments.
For some families, the amount at stake can run into tens of thousands of dollars a year.
I think that’s completely wrong.
Whether or not you vaccinate your child should be your decision as a parent, not a decision the government pressures you into by tying it to your family’s finances.
We tried to repeal these laws and give that decision back to parents.
