Runlayer CEO Andy Berman oversees AI rollouts for Fortune 500s. He says the models are ready for enterprise-level work, but the companies aren’t.
“An LLM without access to the right tools and resources, and specifically the data sources, which most companies will not give access to today… is almost useless.”

Are the Anthropic founders on a mission to save humanity?
@dawallach: “These are dyed in the wool legitimate religious extremists. And they might be right. And if they’re right, we should thank them because they’re saving civilization.”
@davemcclure: “I really do think that he’s trying to birth a deity that is a benevolent deity and will save humanity.”

Jason posts his monthly “Bitcoin is dead” and the internet loses it.
@jason: “Why put your resources into a dead network?”
“There are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating much more value.”
“Every month I do my Bitcoin is dead post when I’m bored.”
“Now there’s three people who want to bet me $1 million that it’s going to hit an all time high.”

Before The League launched, Amanda Bradford threw boat parties and MBA mixers where the only way in was having the app on your phone. She raised $2M right after launch. Would this work for your startup? Consumer? B2B? Or only dating? @amandabradford @TheLeague @Jason

Having hired many Project Titan team members over the years at Rivian, I can say it wasn't a lack of talent.
Rather, a lack of will.
Apple's leadership couldn't see its way through two very hard problems: autonomy and manufacturing.
The solution to manufacturing was always vertical integration. But Apple, hooked on outsourced manufacturing, couldn't see the path.
As for autonomy, we know Tesla FSD is the way.
Perhaps Apple could have partnered with Tesla early in the game. At the time, one of Tesla's biggest advantages was its fleet data.
Consider Apple's entire vehicle data collection fleet running around the Bay Area a few years ago. There were probably more Teslas in the parking lot, collecting real-world driving data on Apple employees' commutes every day, than Apple had dedicated test vehicles.
Apple had the talent (or could hire it). It had the money. What it couldn't do was figure out how to build a car on the terms the problem demanded.

Jason's right: network effects of bitcoin are dead.
Outside of the quantum risk, fewer people are using Bitcoin over time because it's a worse product.
Compare that with $SOL, $ETH, etc. It may be the dominant blockchain by price but nobody is using it...
That's a problem.
A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started.
Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now.
Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue.
We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months.
Why?
Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value.
Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value?
What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?!
The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED!
Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets!
No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone.
No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS!
Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity.
This should be obvious to everyone right now.
Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

I like the fact that you think very hard about the societal aspects of the amazing changes we are going through and about to experience. Most of the voices are purely about the tech, whereas you blend both. Your voice will absolutely be one of the most important in the country over the next decade.

Jason Calacanis says the federal minimum wage has stood still for decades and argues that a modest increase would help low-paid workers
"Somewhere in fifteen million people in this country who make under uh fifteen dollars an hour and who are impacted by the federal minimum wage, which has not moved in decades. I s if the president came out and just said, Hey, we're gonna increase the minimum wage by one dollar federal minimum wage. Which is basically doesn't count for half the states, because half the states have their own minimum."
