Dunellen is pushing for state funding to modernize its train station, with plans for ADA upgrades, improved access and downtown revitalization. mycentraljersey.com/story/ne…
Today, I attended the inauguration of Gov. Mikie Sherrill as President of the NJ Conference of Mayors. While we may not agree on everything, I wish her success and look forward to bipartisan efforts on the issues facing our great state.
On Jan. 13, as President of NJCM, I joined Executive Director Amanda De Palma in Trenton for the swearing-in of the NJ General Assembly and Gov. Phil Murphy’s final State of the State. Looking forward to continued progress for NJ in 2026 and beyond.
Proud to advocate for NJ’s 564 mayors through the NJ Conference of Mayors—on health benefits, energy taxes, housing, and more—ensuring local voices are heard in Trenton. I discussed this on @ComcastNewsmkrs as NJCM President. Watch: comcastnewsmakers.com/Videos…
Had an informative conversation on Blueprints and Barriers with @LisaAllen_NJ and Mayors Mark Taylor & Jason Karr about NJ’s new affordable housing laws and what they mean for our towns.

Important day in Dunellen as our LD-21 team once again joined Mayor Cilento to speak with state and federal partners about the need to modernize the town’s train station to ensure accessibility and reliability for all. Looking forward to continuing to advance these efforts!
AON’s 36.5% SHBP-LG rate ⬆️ for 2026 puts NJ municipalities at risk, already facing financial strain. FY2026 budget didn’t restore ETR funding, leaving local govs without vital resources to offset increases. The NJCM, NJLM & NJAC are committed to work w/ the State on solutions.

Since Sept. ‘24, mayors have asked NJDEP to extend input on the REAL Rules + meet directly. These rules impact local economies & housing. If the State Plan is truly a priority, it should align with Affordable Housing + REAL—not move forward separately. njspotlightnews.org/video/sh…
📣 Proud to join 130+ NJ mayors with the NJCM in calling for real change:
💰 Restore Energy Tax Receipts
🛑 Rethink NJDEP’s REAL rules
🏘️ It’s about protecting our towns + fiscal responsibility.

🚨 NJ mayors are sounding the alarm on a crisis in the State Health Benefits Program. On June 9, I sent a letter on behalf of NJCM urging urgent reform. Public employees & taxpayers are at risk. 📣 Contact your legislator: njleg.state.nj.us/legislativ…

Thank you Assemblyman @MikeInganamort for the support. Just as it is among us Mayors, this must be a bipartisan effort in the Legislature too. 🇺🇸
