Remember folks that everyone else’s fault that Ken Paxton took seven weeks off from the election trail to go to Europe with his mistress. If he loses, you were the reason he has no responsibility whatsoever for any of his crimes or adultery. And I know these threats are going to work to get you to vote.
A friendly election-day word to the Bush/Rove/Cornyn RINO Republicans who’ve refuse to support Paxton, French, et al., and perhaps even plan to vote for James Talarico:
You will never have a seat at the political table in Texas again.
If Ken Paxton wins, your sandbagging won’t be forgotten. The party will shift right, putting the desires of normal native Texans over your globalist corporate agenda, over your cheap Mexican illegal and Indian H1-B workforces and California liberal-locust transplants. Your “natural conservative” demographics that somehow always vote D 3-to-1 will migrate elsewhere. You will not be invited to share governance in this conservative, Texan-first renaissance.
If Talarico and Hinojosa win, that sandbagging will be considered treason. The red-green socialist-Islamic alliance will thank you for delivering victory, then cause you to suffer the consequences of far-left policy just like the rest of us. The Democrats will not welcome you; the remnants of the Republican party will despise you.
You could’ve abided by the “party unity” you’ve demanded for two decades, as we’ve held our noses and voted for John Cornyn, the most useless US Senator in Texas history.
You did not.
Now it’s too late. There will be no Cornyn/Bush RINO resurgence either way. Instead of tolerating a morally flawed, politically conservative Paxton for six years, then running a more virtuous candidate in 2032, you will be forever in the wilderness.
We asked you to play ball. You went home in a tantrum instead. Now you don’t get to play the game anymore, ever.
Sorry.

It was my honor to join the @McLennanYRs as they helped welcome @natesheetsforTX today to McLennan County. If you’ve not already, make sure you get out and vote for him tomorrow too! #txlege

Major implications here for @JoeLombardoNV and other Rs running statewide.
Rs won Election Day in 2022 by ~48K voters. If they do that again (and NV has 11% more voters in 2026 than 2022), Rs will wipe away the 42.4K voter advantage that Ds amassed during early voting.
Now, Ds should win mail ballots that are dropped off at voting sites. But these numbers suggest Ds can't count on a 10K-20K+ mail ballot surge coming in on Wednesday and Thursday. At this pace, Rs might win late arriving mail (!!).
Lombardo still needs a strong turnout tomorrow among high-propensity GOP voters. There are plenty of those voters remaining, while these numbers suggest signs that D voters changed behavior and put their ballots in the mail earlier than in past years.

I’m out at the polls today alongside my opponent, @DunnForTexas. If you haven’t cast your ballot yet, I encourage you to get out and vote. Polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Every vote counts, and I hope to see you out here! #HD121
Not a single Democrat, and very few independence will vote for him because of this. But a whole lot of pro-life Republicans will decide not to bother.

Never a good sign when a Republican candidate is begging for approval by disavowing the unborn.

In the mid-nineties, George W. Bush and Karl Rove ended 100 years of Democrat rule in Texas. Fast forward to today and they are anathema to the current Texas GOP. We’ll see if today’s Texas GOP can do what those guys did and keep the Democrats out of power.

HIGH-STAKES TEXAS CONTEST: "I was laying in bed the other night wondering how do I blow $500 million? And it dawned on me—I pick Paxton over John Cornyn... For 0.7% if you get Paxton, you spent half a billion dollars that could have gone to South Carolina, could have gone to Maine, could have gone to Nebraska, Kansas. But they're trying to drag Ken Paxton over the finish line when all you had to do was nominate John Cornyn." @TGowdySC

I'm not the least bit interested in your "vote for the lesser of two evils" argument if you are the sort of person who never says a word about the lesser evil.

Reagan's three-legged-stool coalition of anticommunists, social conservatives, and free market advocates was most important for the leg it left out, namely, racist paleocons. We need to somehow get back to that state where all they do is stew impotently, at home in neither party.

Three Indian-American conservative friends of mine privately had the exact same reaction. They are with the GOP on most issues now. But explicit race-hate cancels out the rest.
NETTR means no allies in the middle -- and all the electoral consequences that follow.
Again, conspiracy theories, and election fear promoting only voting on election day could lead to disaster for Republicans.

I’ll do finals on the other stuff today, but two things worth noting, as Derek remains the best at this and I’m comfortable using him over Theo or Transparency USA.
The mixed-voter primary split was about 62/38 in favor of Dems. Here it’s 55.4%.
Dems exceeded their 2026 primary turnout by 35k votes. R’s exceeded theirs by 186k.
I believe my math with those groups was that Talarico wanted to be around +150k to ensure worst-case 100% advantage, and Paxton wanted to be +67k in his worst case. Who knows what this result means.
“If you’re against 2-3 Republicans for deeply moral reasons you’re an awful Republican and should resign from all positions.”

Tomorrow, let’s re-elect Gov. @JoeLombardoNV to keep taxes low, keep crime minimal in Nevada, and keep bringing jobs to our great state!
@AaronDFordNV has an agenda and a record fit for California, NOT Nevada!
C’mon, man. Go VOTE!
Election Day is tomorrow and I need your vote to help keep our state safe and affordable.
We only lose if we don’t vote.
So, c’mon man. Go Vote!

Republicans were rapidly gaining ground on Democrats among Indian-American voters.
Then Bo French happened.
