In a crushing election cycle for Republicans across the country, Florida is a stalwart of victory.
Every statewide candidate Gov @RonDeSantis endorsed beat their Democrat opponent outside of recount margins. Governor, Attorney General, Ag Commissioner, CFO, and U.S. Senator.
On top of that, the constitutional amendment he championed for property-tax overhaul—hotly contested by special interest groups and local governments—passed well over the required 60% threshold. This is a generational victory for tax reform that will make Florida the envy of the nation.
Many will now see what we in Florida have long understood: Voters trust him.

.@GovRonDeSantis explains why nuking the filibuster is pointless if you don’t have Republicans in Congress who are actually willing to pass a bold, conservative agenda.
Florida is a better place because of @jasonbrodeur’s service in the legislature. Thank you and well done, my friend.
Thank you to everyone who supported our campaign for Florida Senate. Representing Central Florida in the House and Senate is one of the greatest honors of my life - I am so proud of the work we accomplished, from transformational legislation to lower prescription drug prices to preserving millions of acres of Florida’s wild lands. I look forward to continue advocating for responsible government policies that improve and protect our citizens in any way I can.

🚨 DeSantis: Republicans promised BIG things — and DIDN’T DELIVER
@GovRonDeSantis: “Why haven’t we done immigration, shut off H-1B visas? Why haven’t [we] codified Trump’s immigration executive orders? Why haven’t we stripped jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?”
“There’s so many things that could have been done. They didn’t even attempt it.”
“They promised big things… and they didn’t deliver.”

Amen.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV
"I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."
"THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT."
"They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it."
"This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate."
A fire was just lit under this man.
Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time
We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!

🚨 NOW: Gov. Ron DeSantis CONFIRMS his 2026-redrawn Congressional map SAVED Republicans from losing a single US House seat in Florida this November
NOW: 20 Republicans
WOULD HAVE BEEN: 18 Republicans
"We had 20 Republicans under current lines. We elected ANOTHER 20 Republicans, so no gain. But get this, what they're not telling you is if that old map had been in effect, we only would have won 18 of the seats!"
"So we would have had a two seat loss. Instead we held serve. So to hold serve in the worst political midterm for our party since Watergate and maybe even since FDR, you know, obviously that was not something that caused us any grief had we kept the old map."
The redraw had the goal of actually having the GOP pick up seats. It was a SOLID map and we simply held the same, set to gain more when the environment gets redder
Florida is unmatched right now ☀️

True. States choose to not count as fast as Florida.

Ron DeSantis says running against Donald Trump created a uniquely difficult primary, with some voters telling him they saw him as a future president but still planned to support Trump.

In 2024 Florida voters sent 20 Republicans and 8 Democrats to the US House.
In April 2026, Florida enacted a revised map to unwind an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.
Last night, Florida voters likely elected 20 Republicans and 8 Democrats to the US House.
Had the old map been in effect, it would have been 18 Republicans and 10 Democrats.

Fascinating conversation today with @GovRonDeSantis who gave me his raw assessment of what happened last night, why, and the true long-term cost to republicans/America. AND, when I asked him about running for president in 2028, his answer is NOT what the prediction markets expected. @RonDeSantis

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis describes the GOP's midterm wipeout "is close to an extinction-level event" for the party "in many parts of the country, as we have seen probably in the last 100 years."
DeSantis added that "this was not a positive view of the Democrats," but a "rejection of Republicans in Washington."
He also said "Democrats are unpopular" and they "did not earn a mandate to indulge all their left-wing fantasies."

Florida’s 2nd DCA just rejected Meta’s attempt to dismiss our lawsuit against them.
Unlike other states, Florida isn’t going to sell out. We will hold Meta accountable for its design features that target and addict our kids.

Knock out the ban on congressional stock trading in the lame duck session. Better to be late in doing the right thing than refuse to do the right thing.
Make sure it applies to the executive branch as well.

🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami:
"I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!"
"It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?"
"I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."
