Thank you everyone who helped me out. This is important work IMO, and this was an unexpectedly nice thing to happen on my birthday.
Calling all observable lovers!
There’s an important meeting in Dublin next week deciding on the future of observables in the browser, and @BenLesh is going on his own dime to fight the good fight for *cold* observables!
Most attendees are from large companies like Google who cover costs (thousands of dollars), but no one is as important as Ben to make sure we get the design right to make a more resilient web possible. So if you’ve benefitted from his work on rxjs, or care about getting observables done right natively, kick a few bucks to sponsor his advocacy via travel expenses. Venmo: venmo.com/u/BenLesh
With @prisma moving to a completely different query pattern (code wise) for the ORM we have a task ahead of us to migrate to it already, do we just... Not and instead use reylo...?
Replying to @colinhacks
this is still beta but you can play with it here 👉 github.com/colinhacks/reylo

Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀
We are not forking TypeScript!
◆ In close collaborating with the TypeScript team
◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory
◆ Runs in WASM, so it works in your browser & on Workers
◆ Soon part of the Oxc toolchain
npx tsrs

ArkType is FANTASTIC.
I am so excited to see it keep evolving. I really want to be able to use it as our standard schema validation for our @nestframework APIs.
I'm looking for my next role 👀
TS SDKs, DX, agent tooling. remote/hybrid from Boston.
if you've enjoyed ArkType, Standard Schema or my TypeScript perf work, a repost would mean a ton 🙏

Took some work to flash the iso with dd on my Mac but we got there!

Monorepos fail quietly.
Circular deps creep in. Caches replay stale results. CI skips tests and nobody notices. Test files end up in production.
I've hit every one of these first-hand, so I built monorepo-doctor: an AI agent skill that audits your monorepo for them 🧵
Took me less than an hour to switch to "Versity S3 Gateway (S3-compatible object storage)" if anyone else was using MinIO!
Well it works!
Props to the @bunjavascript team.
In the next version of Bun
`bun check` is a TypeScript type checker builtin to Bun (written in Rust)

ALT Announcement graphic for bun check, a TypeScript type checker built into Bun, with the Bun logo. A bar chart compares type checking VS Code (10,947 files). bun check: 1.75s, 2.77 GiB. tsc 7 with --checkers 16: 5.88s, 9.23 GiB. tsc 7 (typescript-go) with default settings: 12.58s, 7.73 GiB. bun check is 3x to 7x faster with 2.8x to 3.3x less memory. Linux x64, 64 threads, mean of 20 runs. Passes 100% of TypeScript's conformance tests. "Thank you, TypeScript team. bun check is a port of typescript-go."

I've moved the docs for all the ecosystem packages under mswjs.io and refreshed their logos to be more aligned. Hopefully, this will help developers discover you can do much more with your API mocks!
Hey @marc_ibrahim, does GameToMac have a bug report process? I looked but cannot find anything, I have had d2 resurrected freeze on me twice and the screen just goes really bright. I see there are some diagnostic logs but unsure if they are from this freeze or not!
Been loving Diablo 2: Resurrected, but man, their dungeon generation algorithm must have a bug in it. In Act I I kept encountering rooms with no doors that had loot inside.
Props to @marc_ibrahim
GameToMac.com is fantastic, I just played through most of Act I of the Diablo 2 and it worked flawlessly.
Seriously, great job.

With MSW 3.0 released this week, I want to try something new to make the project financially sustainable. I wrote an open letter about the project, its history, and impact on the ecosystem.
I ask for five minutes of your time to read it. Thank you.

We’re rewriting the Angular compiler in Rust 🦀 (partially)!
Meet ngp (Angular Preprocessor): a hybrid compiler decoupling our transforms from TypeScript using Oxc, readying Angular for TypeScript 7 & native tooling.

It's the end of the week. If you have some tokens lying around, maybe spend them on open source! pnpm still has 629 open issues on GitHub.
