Why are the rules different? Nestle gets a notice for high amounts of total phosphorus in its low fat dairy whitener when added phosphorus is within permissible limits, but Indians will not get warned about total free sugars and total fats! Why are we going to get FOPLwarnings only about added sugars and added fats?! So that food industry can sell products sweetened with fruit pulp, date syrup, honey etc as 'No sugar' product?!
We all know how the metabolism works in reality. To a child’s developing liver and pancreas, glucose is glucose and fructose is fructose whatever the source is. They cause the exact same insulin spikes and dental caries and affect the liver exactly the same way! Maltodextrins have higher glycemic index than sugar. If FSSAI doesn't come up with FOPL warnings about total sugars and total fats instead of added sugars and added fats, about maltodextrins, and about non nutritive sweeteners as well, the industry is going to wreak havoc! They are going to sell all their products containing date syrup, honey, fruit pulp, fruit juices as 'no sugar' products! Parents will not be warned shout maltodextrins or non nutritive sweeteners!
This is going to be a major flaw in Front-of-Pack Label warnings or FOPL warnings. Consider a packaged fruit puree or fruit pulp bar or a tetrapack with fruit juice. Because the sugar comes from the fruit itself, it is not classified as "added." A child could consume 20 grams of free sugar in one sitting, yet the package will have no warning about the free sugar in it.
The law is not only going to act as a shield for corporate profits but also mislead public into believing that food products containing sugars other than jaggery and sugar, are healthy and that they do not need to show any restraint while consuming them.

“13 Crore Voters Deleted” needs context.
The figure includes:
• 9.5 crore (71%) absent, shifted or other cases
• 2.7 crore (20%) deceased
• 1 crore+ (~8%) duplicate/multiple entries
So the real question is: should deceased, duplicate or shifted entries remain on electoral rolls?
Congress-led governments conducted 7 SIRs in the past. Why is the issue being framed differently now?
Electoral rolls need to be accurate, updated and free of duplicate or ineligible entries.

Kapil Sibal in 2013:
During electoral roll cleanup, deleted can be in 3 categories - Duplicate, Shifted and Dead.
If you have an issue with wrongful deletion, go to ERO and get enrolled again.
How is the process any different now? 😏

Rahul Gandhi will sit under the sun for 9 hours but won't sign the affidavit, take the ECI to court, or build a case from the allegations he's been making for 7-8 years. This is where it becomes drama rather than dissent—just another time-pass for the silver-spoon scion.

🚨 BLAST FROM THE PAST: Then Law Minister Kapil Sibal's 2013 Vote Deletion logic he needs to see himself😂
Back then, Sibal said voter deletion was HARDLY a BIG ISSUE:
> “You can any day go to the Electoral Registration Office and say, register us. We are here.”🤣
He explained deletions could happen if a voter:
• Moved away
• Was registered in another constituency
• Had died
His argument was simple: If your name disappears, go and get it restored🤡
Fast-forward to today.
Same guy now presents electoral-roll revision as an existential THREAT to democracy!!
So what changed, the voter list, or the politics around it?

Wait. 💀
This was a CONGRESS-era Law Minister in 2010😂
The same party Rahul Gandhi represents.
> In 2010, EVMs were fine. 2014 elections happened under their government.
Now they lose elections, and suddenly EVMs are the problem. 🤡
The country has seen what 12 years can do.
Rahul Gandhi wants a CLEAN PAST.

Rahul Gandhi: I need to go inside to stop vote chori.
SG: Your job is to go to Parliament and work in the interest of the country, not to force your way in here.
Raga: But I want to go inside for your own benefit. Please let me in.
SG: Sir, we weren’t born yesterday. Your family came claiming they wanted to stop chori and ended up looting the entire country.
Rahul Gandhi is left completely shocked and can only say, “You’re an Andhbhakt too!”
And just wait for Rahul Gandhi’s face at the end. 😹🤣

🚨 India’s healthcare costs are becoming a serious problem!
PE money flowing into private hospitals is one factor we need to examine closely.
📈Private hospitals should make profits.
📈Doctors should be paid well.
📈Quality healthcare should never be expected to be free.
But when healthcare becomes an investment asset, there is an obvious question:
Does the pressure to grow revenue and deliver returns create incentives for higher pricing, more tests, more procedures, and longer hospital stays?
PE firms have invested heavily in India’s hospital sector with the objective of generating returns and eventually exiting.
That doesn't mean every PE-backed hospital overcharges or provides unnecessary treatment.
But the incentive structure deserves scrutiny.
And the problem is getting bigger:
💊 Some cancer drugs have reportedly been sold at 10X the procurement cost in hospitals.
🏥 Private hospital treatment is becoming increasingly unaffordable for cash-paying patients.
📈 Medical inflation of 14% continues to put pressure on healthcare costs and insurance premiums.
💰 Insurers are also struggling with rising hospital bills and crazy hospital charges, and now there is discussion around 10% co-pay.
So who ultimately pays?
The middle class.
Hospitals increase prices →Insurers increase premiums →Insurers consider co-pay →Patients pay more from their own pocket.
And telling someone,
“If you can't afford a private hospital, go to a government hospital” is one of the most terrible arguments,
India needs profitable hospitals, sustainable insurers, and well-paid doctors.
But profits cannot come at the cost of pricing ordinary Indians out of quality healthcare.
Dear Government & IRDAI:
Please investigate hospital pricing, medicine mark-ups, billing practices, unnecessary procedures and the impact of financial-investor ownership on healthcare costs.
Please investigate the corruption at the insurers,
Please act now,
Because,
Healthcare is a business.
But the patient cannot become the business model.
